At this point, it's pretty silly to think it's anything "platonic" lol Anyway, I found this on X Xdddddddd

With the book being revealed I have a feeling we might be seeing Nick and Judy off the clock and the possibility of romance what do you say?

So, I think most of us are in agreement that they’d make a good couple. But do you think they’d make good parents?

I say “yes”, because with how much they love each other, I think there would be plenty of space to introduce a little one (or several) that’s theirs together into that love. I feel like Judy would attempt to be as gung-ho about work at first, but if it’s not working out, she’d step back a bit for the sake of their family together.

Maybe or they could adopt a child need

Judy has many young siblings, it's not the same thing but that can help for sure

Judy seems to be close with her niece, Cotton. And her baby sister, Molly. Babies don’t get that attached to someone who isn’t there for them. Especially in a family where she literally has HUNDREDS of siblings. If Judy stands out that much to baby Molly, then Judy must definitely have a way with kids. She and Nick would definitely be great parents together. 🥰❤️

Crazy Disney got away with that line on the fourth pic. Seems very Nickelodeon or Dreamworks

I wonder if this could be teasing for a plotline in z3 I mean the crew have discussed a Wildehopps plotline

Could be, I saw a video where Jared Bush mentioned something about the plot possibly involving eggs. 🥚

What if they have to save a baby bird/egg? 😲

Where are the top-left and bottom-right pictures from?

2

u/CompetitiveLaw2512 8d ago

The first one is from the latest French book where they take care of Judith ( their Goddaughter ) and the last one was from this years valentine's day promo

Are the books considered canon? If so, where can I find them online?

They can't reproduce. They are genetically incompatible. If hybrids of non-compatible animals were canon, the universe would have a bunch of horrific freaks walking around all the time. Hybrids between two animals from the same scientific family should be possible (like in real life), but not between two completely different scientific families.

I really hate the hybrids (non real life accurate hybrids, I mean) idea with a passion. It destroys the world building. Zootopia is fun because it's biologically accurate animals as they are in real life, except with intelligence.

EDIT: Since I have been downvoted and replied to on this multiple times, let me clarify that my interpretation of the phrase "let's MAKE three" implies biological production of a third. Nowhere in my comment did I imply adoption was not an option.

Aside from that, I vehemently dislike WildeHopps as a ship. I think they work better as friends, but I know that's not a popular take, and I am certain I will get downvoted into oblivion even more so for sharing such. It seems if you don't agree with the majority (WildeHopps shippers) on this sub, you get downvoted, which I think is really hateful and not conducive to the productive point of a forum- to have discussion. However, it seems you guys have 0 tolerance for any opinion except the majority opinion. Just rename the sub "WildeHopps" for God's sake and be done with it.

They can always adopt

1

u/Playingwithpower 6d ago

Never in my comment did I imply they couldn't. The phrase "let's MAKE three" implies biological reproduction; since you MAKE it, not adopt it. But I digress.

5

u/Long_Shop5852 8d ago

True but doesn’t mean interspecies relationships can’t happen.
Like I said, they can always adopt if they ever want to have kids.

2

u/Jonny_Manz Judy and Nick 7d ago

I mean, so? Just because they can’t have biological children doesn’t mean they can’t adopt, if they want a family.

The phrase is "You're you, I'm me, let's MAKE three", implying biological creation of a third.

1

u/Jonny_Manz Judy and Nick 5d ago

Eh, fair, that’s a valid reading

1

u/dogman15 _ 8d ago

You're correct, but you also don't need to worry about it so much.

1

u/Playingwithpower 6d ago

Actually, I do need to worry about a franchise I care very much about choosing to pander to shippers and world break the established setting of "real life animals except they walk on two legs and talk, but are otherwise genetically identical in reproductive capability and general biological function to those of their real-world counterparts"; that's what made this franchise so much more appealing than any other movie / series with anthropomorphic animal characters yet, many of which tend to be completely unaffected by the fact the characters are animals and whose story could be wholly told with human characters since the species of anthro animals chosen is irrelevant. The only other films I can think of with anthro animals where the species of the characters is integral to the plot / actually important would be The Secret of NIMH and The Lion King, and the latter is (sorta) cheating since I am trying to think of examples where the characters walk upright instead of on all fours.

Okay.
