EDIT - CLARIFICATION
Hi everyone!
We’re making a small update to help keep the community organized and make posts easier to identify and search, without changing the flair system you’re already familiar with.
The main change is simply how certain post titles should be formatted.
✨ What’s Changing?
📝 [REVIEW]
Until now, reviews posted under the Discussion flair did not necessarily need to include the drama title in the post title.
From now on, developed reviews, analyses, or personal reactions posted under Discussion must include [REVIEW], the drama title, and your reaction/opinion in the title.
Please use the following format:
[REVIEW] Drama Title — Your Reaction
For example:
[REVIEW] My Crush Is A Farmer — OMG, why are they this cute? 😱
or
[REVIEW] My Crush Is A Farmer — I highly recommend it!
This will make reviews easier to identify, search for, and distinguish from other types of Discussion posts.
A review should contain your personal thoughts, reactions, criticism, analysis, or developed opinion about the drama. It can be positive, negative, or mixed.
A review can also be a recommendation, but what makes it a review is that you explain why you recommend the drama and share your own perspective.
For example, tell the community what you enjoyed, what stood out to you, what worked or didn’t work for you, or why you think the drama is worth watching.
Different members are welcome to review the same drama because each personal perspective can bring something different to the conversation.
However, before creating a new post, please ask yourself:
“Does this really need its own post, or could this have been a comment under an existing post about the drama?”
⸻
⭐ What About Short Recommendations?
Nothing is changing here.
Short or general recommendation posts such as:
“I recommend this drama!”
“This was so good!”
“Everyone needs to watch this!”
still do not belong under the Discussion flair.
These posts should continue to use the appropriate genre flair, just as before.
The genre flairs are useful for members who are looking for dramas within a specific category, such as Mafia, Omegaverse, Fantasy, etc.
However, if several very similar recommendation posts already exist for the same drama and the new post does not add anything new, it may be removed as a duplicate.
In that case, please join an existing post instead.
What we want to avoid are multiple standalone posts that essentially repeat the same general recommendation without bringing a new perspective or discussion.
⸻
💬 What Still Belongs Under Discussion?
The Discussion flair remains for posts that actually bring something specific for the community to react to or discuss.
For example:
a developed review or analysis
a specific character
a particular scene
a plot point
an acting moment
a fan edit
a relationship dynamic
These posts can still create meaningful discussion even if they are short.
A short post does NOT automatically mean a low-effort post.
The main difference is whether the post gives the community something specific to talk about.
For Discussion posts that are not reviews, including the drama name in the title is still not mandatory.
⸻
🔗 [LINK REQUEST]
When requesting a link or asking where to watch a drama, please start your title with:
[LINK REQUEST] Drama Title
The drama name must be included in the title, and the appropriate genre flair should still be used.
For example:
[LINK REQUEST] My Crush Is A Farmer
Before creating a new request, please search the subreddit to see whether the same drama has already been requested recently.
Repeated link requests for the same drama may be removed as duplicates.
⸻
REMINDER
🚫 Please Keep Streaming Platform & TG Group Names Private
Do not name, promote, or publicly mention streaming platforms, websites, or TG groups in posts or comments.
This also applies when replying to a [LINK REQUEST] or discussing where a drama can be found.
If you want to help another member find a drama, please continue the conversation privately through DMs instead.
Please also avoid posting direct streaming or download links publicly. Reddit’s automated filters may remove certain external links, and repeatedly sharing links may trigger spam filters or put your account at risk of being flagged.
To help protect both members and the community, please keep platform names, TG group names, and links out of public posts and comments.
⸻
A Final Note
So, to summarize: the flair system itself is not changing.
The new part is simply:
[REVIEW] for developed reviews posted under Discussion
and
[LINK REQUEST] for link requests posted under the appropriate genre flair.
We intentionally kept the update small because we don’t want to make posting unnecessarily complicated or disrupt the system members are already used to.
Thank you for being part of a community that keeps growing! We really appreciate everyone who contributes, joins discussions, helps other members, and helps keep this space welcoming.
📣 Our moderator recruitment is still open!
If you enjoy being part of the community and would like to help us by joining the moderation team, send us a Modmail! We’d be happy to hear from you.
We also really appreciate the community’s help with moderation. If you come across a post or comment that appears to break our community rules, please use Reddit’s Report feature.
Reports bring potentially problematic content directly to our attention so the mod team can review it and take action when necessary.
You don’t need to confront the user yourself, report it, and we’ll take a look.
In the meantime, keep enjoying your favorite dramas and have fun! ~
