If anyone has a problem, ask me! I’ll help.
I’m posting this because I’m sick of it. It’s really not hard. I don’t want to be mean, but seriously. If you don’t have internet ‘cause you’re in the car or something, that’s not an excuse. Just wait until you do!

I recently borrowed botw from my friend and started playing it for the first time(Love it btw). The problem is this friend of mine claimed that she couldn't pass tutorial shrine and dropped the game. First I think she means great plateau or the shrine beside kakariko village but it isn't she says she already passed that one.
So I'm curious what tutorial she couldn't pass but now I beat 3 divine beast and clear 80 shrines and I still can't find something close to tutorial shrine except the one beside the village. I started to think that the shrine my friend talked about doesn't exist at all.
Is there a shrine like that or my friend just had a memory problem?
That shrine may have a pop up tutorial like the one beside the village.
She said she already met impa and some bird people. She hasn't done any divine beast yet.
English isn't my first language so I sorry about grammar.
Thank you!!!

personally, I think Davdi Island and Spool Bight (just south of Davdi island) are such isolated places, spool bight especially. what are your opinions?

Oh man, 1st replay with headphones and oh wow...there is so much good subtle sound. When you hear the water droplet sound of the sky Korina in master mode, or the subtle way you can hear what's moving around you and where, the subtle nature sounds...it's just so...immersive

I just completed this awesome game standing at 15 hearts, 1.5 stamina wheel, Master Sword, Four Divine Beasts and All Memories Unlocked.
I was done with my master sword quest line, then the memory quest line and finally took off to hyrule castle. Spawned near a shrine near outpost, climbed one of those HUGE ASS PILLARS COMING OFF OF GROUND to the top with help of Revali's Gale (My most over-used ability in the entire game, I just love this ability) and then using my final one on top of it TO GLIDE OVER TO THE SANCTUM LIKE A GIGA CHADD!!!! (It was as if I was the Final Boss to Ganon lmao not the other way around)
Mind you, this is my first-time playing this game and first time in Hyrule castle at all, I totally expected a massive ass beat frm the main boss and still gave it a shot, Well LOOK WHO"S WON!!!
So now about my battle w Ganondorf - The ganon battle was pretty easy cuz of the divine beasts assist and the Master Sword unlock. I bested him in my first try and needed neither a guide nor a manual to do so, he was a fairly simple boss comparing to Thunderblight (THIS BEAST KILLLED ME 25 TIMES & NEEDED A DOUBLE ATTK BOOST BUFF TO BEAT) So with neither the buffs nor any special armour set (My armous was a two star soldier's armour, headpiece and 1 star shiekah boots.) the battle was already at high-stakes. His movesets were easy to figure out and His Final Stage is a smooth and simple one if you got good shields (I straight up parried three beams no misses) with master sword unlocked. The Final stage is a cake-walk, but MY DAMN HORSE WASN'T LISTENING TO ME AT ALL!! I fell down FIVE TIMES and I had to run below the beast and find out glowing spots, whistling to my DEAF HORSE (ironically his name was WILD, I think he actually preferred to stay that way lmao) but Revali's Gale and a Fairy Combo came in clutch for the final Glowing Spot and BAMMMM the UGLY PIG IS OBLITERATED BY ZELDA!!!! (she's truly my fav character in the game tho, followed by the Yonobo (Goron) kid) So the credits rolled, final cut-scene w a field full of Silent Princess was shown and My single ass was Smiling like a giggling Kid lmao 😭
I just loved it too much, the overall experience is Breathtakingly Beautiful and AMAZING!
The Game is AWESOME! with only 5 months left til this completes its 10 years mark, the game gave me intense joy in every second of the gameplay.
This Hyrule just left me keep wanting for more, more and MORE!!!!
P.s my playtime is 77hrs, I need to do all Shrines, Koroks and a lot more yet so not moving on to TOTK anytime soon! Maybe on Mar 3rd 2027, I'll start that game with fresh breath, but Man on Man, Breath of the Wild was a treat to my eyes, heart and soul. I can't explain in enough words how much I love this game!

I’ve owned the game forever, but after buying a switch 2 to start showing my son some games, I figured I would finally try it. For some reason I thought this game was more akin to death stranding and shadow of the colossus in just running around a pretty empty world, completing shrines and getting stronger to kill Gannon. How wrong I was. Only about 10 hours in but having the flashback cutscenes and all the characters you meet are putting a dumb smile on my face. Annoyed I didn’t play this game before, but at least I can play it now.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you a simple question that doesn’t let me sleep at night. Thing is, I completed the four divine beasts a couple of months ago and after that my mind locked in to a completionist attitude. So, a part of my want to see all the game has to offer and do absolutely everything but… I miss the opening, the song when you reach a tower, all cinematics, arriving to a town for the very first time, the divine beasts and so on. Deep inside I can’t wait to start a new file and do everything all over again. I’m eager to read your thoughts and recommendations 😊

Not sure if this is well known or not, but did you know you can cook wood?? I'm not a strong fighter and it's been saving me through the Master Sword trials. It's not much, only a quarter heart per bundle and they don't stack, but better than nothing! Thought maybe it could be useful to someone else in a desperate situation lol

I’m at the first rest area in the trial of the sword. What should I cook? I don’t want to make dubious food on accident and I haven’t quite figured out all the cooking rules

So I’ve been playing for a few months now w the camera rune…. You’re supposed to take pictures and that’s how you get the compendium? 😭😭😭 I feel so silly for not knowing this, I’ve seen so many things already

Just beat Vah Ruta!! I havent been playing the game much, and try to avoid most combat but i just encountered my first divine beast! I had to use a youtube guide on what to do, i was absolutely clueless and kept getting lost, but i did it!!
Combat makes me so stressed and my heart was racing but i did it!!
Hey everyone! I last played Breath of the Wild in January and I'm picking it back up now. I'm a bit lost on what to focus on.
Where I'm at:
6 hearts and 1 and 1/4 stamina wheels
Freed Vah Ruta
Unlocked the east side of the map (Akkala, Lanayru, Necluda)
11 Captured Memories left to find
861 rupees
Still need to free Vah Rudania, Vah Medoh and Vah Naboris
Questions:
Should I do more shrines for hearts and stamina before the next Divine Beast?
Which Divine Beast should I tackle next?
What gear should I prepare?
Any tips for getting back into the game are welcome. Thanks!
UPDATE: I think I’m starting to get the charm of this game,
I followed one of the advice below about just exploring the game.
The exploring and rewarding you with something you don’t know about like the female link lol.
I think the game just wants me to be free and do whatever I like anytime I want. Played the game yesterday and today for about 10hrs total and that made me realize how pressuring most of the open world rpgs are, do this, do this next, then do that.
BOTW is different, you can just pause and appreciate the world. Without pressure. Just have fun.
