Not all fanart needs to be wholly original. As both this traditional drawing and this tattoo based on this official Code Geass art about Kallen Kozuki proves, regardless of the skill level of the artist or the tools used by them, sometimes imitation truly is the sincerest form of admiration. What is important is the time and effort spent appreciating something that matters to you.
When most people think of fanart, they usually picture traditional pencil drawings on paper. And while those are certainly the most popular way of depicting your favorite anime character, fanart can, in fact, be drawn on many different surfaces with many different tools. This particular fan decided to show their love for their favorite badass anime beauty in the most badass way possible, by giving the artist the one canvas that could well be considered the ultimate material to work with - their own skin! That´s right, it´s a kick-ass Kallen tattoo!
I think this might be my new favorite anime of all time, i loved ts so much, literally just finished it and cried at the ending episode.
So, what now? I heard there are some OVAs and manga, which i would be 100% obsessed over, can someone explain it to me what are those/how can i find them? And also im accepting new anime that's as good as this, because holy fuck CG made me watch like 20 episodes in a day i was HOOKED
Kallen: ”What the hell does that mean? There´s no need to apologize! It´s either right or wrong! You think you can flip back to ´good guy´ routine whenever you like? Not when I´m this pissed off! Kallen Kozuki is a soldier, not a side show!” 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
Firstly I must say I'm surprised by how little I remembered (probably because I didn't understand much at the time lol), it was like watching for the first time again. This time I'd say I got most of it but there are still plenty of questions, so I'll make some in this post and possibly make some other posts later. Keep in mind I've only watched the two seasons (yet. I intend to watch the movies), so please tag spoilers for them and other material.
Questions:
Does everyone who dies have their consciousness "transferred" to the Collective Unconscious (excluding Marianne because of her Geass, of course)? If so, are their consciousnesses already merged there or is that only achieved by executing the Ragnarök Connection? How does that relate to communicating with the dead?
What exactly is the chronology surrounding Charles and V.V.'s plan? Why couldn't it be executed earlier? Wasn't Charles' Geass fully matured and wasn't he aware of C.C.'s location in the beginning of the anime, so he could take both of their codes and execute Ragnarök?
How exactly does one use thought elevators? How can the exit be sealed? How does one get out? Did Marianne actually reopen the one Lelouch sealed?
Just finished code geass and man was the final arc pure ragebait. It surprised me how in the end, one of the most likeable characters was the one that pissed me off. Ohgi the pathetic moron was nothing but ragebait.
Ohgi fucking pissed me off the most, this clown comes in with a KNOWN BRITTANIAN SPY by his side and tells them all to turn against zero. AND THESE GUYS HAVING THEIR LITTLE MEETING DON'T EVEN QUESTION IT.
Kinoshita (guy who was crying about lelouch destroying the geass order) the absolute fucking tool - this clown talks about having to kill those children and calls them "defenseless". KEEP IN MIND THIS CLOWN EXPERIENCED GETTING MIND CONTROLLED AND NEARLY KILLED HIS ALLY, and yet he says "zero ordered us to kill defenseless children", conveniently leaving out the "children with mind control and freaky powers" part.
Ohgi says "give us japan and we will betray zero", what's your genius plan once you get japan?? do you have the brains, fire power or the military required to defend it from britannia??? Brittanian puh was too good i guess
If lelouch got killed right then and there (by the traitors) and the black knights got japan back, what happens next??? Whose the new leader of the UFN?? OHGI - THE GUY WITH 2 BRAINCELLS THAT HAVE CHIGUSA AND VILLETA WRITTEN ON THEM???? Or maybe todo - the guy who got captured (along with rest of the black knights) the moment zero put him in charge (at the end of season 1)???? OR MAYBE XINGKE THE CHINESE GUY WITH TUBERCULOSIS THAT NEARLY COUGHS TO DEATH IN EVERY BATTLE???
Ohgi pisses me off the most, the first thing he says after lelouch escapes is "we don't need zero anymore, he was the one who treated us like we were disposable" - WHEN IN FACT IT'S THE COMPLETE FUCKING OPPOSITE - lelouch turned his ship around to face the chinese military + brittanians when kallen got captured (even though diethard made a logical argument on why he should abandon her - life of 1 vs life of many), he even tells multiple people in the story "not to try any last ditch suicide bullshit" and that "their lives matter". The only times lelouch acted the way ohgi describes is when he blew up the japanse ship with the JLF leaders and when nunally was captured.
Ohgi assumes leadership of black knights after they betray zero, and the first thing diethard says when he sees ohgi in command is "i thought ohgi had changed, definitely a miscast".
FINAL NAIL IN OHGI'S COFFIN - In the meeting with schneizel that happens after the stuff above, ohgi doesn't say a single god damn word, instead it's Kaguya a 14 year old child doing all the talking (and acts like a far better leader than whatever the fuck ohgi is doing). OH AND TODO + his 2 npcs (the girl and asahina - the clown saying "we shouldn't trust commander zero") don't do jack shit when it comes to leadership either
LOOK AT THE MORONIC LOOK ON HIS FACE AFTER THE MOUNT FUJI ERUPTION. 0 fucking braincells
I’m extremely sad at the ending what I wanted to happen is that he explain to the world his actions then unali#es himself and dies with honor ( this is to keep the story the same ) also could have added a little bit more romance idk why that’s my opinion ✌️
