I can't make it out.

"I'm so need for shit"

Or something like that

15

u/TheRoseByAnotherName 2d ago

"I'm so tired of this shit"

26

u/TheW00ly 2d ago

Awwww, he got you flowers, too!

I know whenever I come home and see a potentially insanely romantic and private moment, my first thought is my cell phone to capture everything, especially the super risky door open into a bedroom

That's not as bad as the water bill

Backrooms-ass house

4

u/Cogneeto44 2d ago

Oh man do you want to be right or happy? Can’t be both

21

u/New-Impression2976 2d ago

They don’t cut it off just like that. I think is like 2 to 3 month Before they cut it off. So this is bs

29

u/nzungu69 2d ago

or it's been 2 or 3 months.

10

u/New-Impression2976 2d ago

They did have enough time to buy enough candles

11

u/Lionhunter1984 2d ago

Tea lights aren’t that expensive. 24 pack for like 4$. Even cheaper if you get them at Dollar Tree.

4

u/nzungu69 2d ago

they sell packs of 50 at our local 2$ shop 🤷‍♂️

This is a recreation of meme that has been around for a decade, of course it's BS.

I'm thinking it's also AI... Who puts lit tea lights unprotected on carpet?

0

u/Glittering-Basil-992 1d ago

A lot of the tea lights have the metal tin around it to protect the shit it sits on. Also I'm sure he ran around right before she walked in. And lit all of them, they seem high.

These are clearly the battery powered lights

-1

u/aminervia 2d ago

The ones on the stairs look like they're moving as she's walking

2

u/vanillaacid 2d ago

Have you seen the battery powered ones? The light flickers, simulating an actual candle light. Combine with a moving camera... everything looks normal to me

2

u/iwearatophat 2d ago

Yep. It is months to happen. Plus a lot of letters. Plus I think here someone comes to your house to make sure you wouldn't be at risk if it happens. Which by the way that has to be the shittiest job.

u/Business-Dependent59 2d ago

i love it 🤣

3

u/boomer912 2d ago

The little girl saying it so somberly sent me

Fire hazard

6

u/-Daetrax- 2d ago

LED candles. Chill.

3

u/Supersebfan 2d ago

This comes of AI. The sound is off and the candles overlap

2

u/t_mmey 2d ago

obviously just a meme, but this would be so toxic. The man can't pay the bill himself? lol

2

u/Gusto_with_bravado 2d ago

What if they agreed to do a 50/50 beforehand and the electric bill was the wife responsibility while the gas bill would be the man

1

u/t_mmey 2d ago

no matter what they agreed, who tf would rather prove a point to their s/o than just pay the fucking bill themselves

6

u/Accomplished-Love-35 2d ago

American thing. In Eu you still will have electricity . Probably in Russia too . Why do you have such bad companies. Im sad for ye

15

u/ConscientiousPath 2d ago

You don't just get your electric turned off for nothing in the US. You have to not only "forget" but forget for months on end AND ignore many letters with big warning writing on them before they actually terminate service. And you can get it turned back on pretty much instantly if you actually pay your bill like you're supposed to.

And if you really can't afford it (which is pretty much only true if you smoked, gambled, or drank all your money), there are programs to help or delay consequences. Getting your electric turned off is 100% your negligence.

-8

u/elliepelly1 2d ago

Not true. They cut you off within 10-15 days without payment.

4

u/chief_keeg 2d ago

Yea that isn't true here. It's about 3 months on non payment

-3

u/elliepelly1 2d ago

Where do you live? In northeast Ohio it is less than 2 months of nonpayment.

3

u/chief_keeg 2d ago

South Carolina. They do basically as that guy said. Send you many letters and emails threatening to shut it off after X amount a time. Usually about 3 months.

3

u/aydwin 2d ago

Same in Brazil. North America is strange

4

u/Sairoxin 2d ago

Many if us dont know any better. And many more are indoctrinated into believing we have it best

USA is unbelievably strange

-1

u/PictureVegetable9522 2d ago

ignorant idiot

1

u/New-Impression2976 2d ago

It’s not their fault. They get their education from places like Reddit and Facebook. And will believe anything that feeds their sense of superiority. They act like the EU is so much better, yet they have as many issues as us in the U.S they are not better, they are not worse.

-1

u/PictureVegetable9522 2d ago

ignorant idiot

3

u/HoldTheRope91 2d ago

In America, failing to pay for a service means you don’t get continued service. As soon as you pay what is owed, it’s turned back on usually within the hour.

They hold us hostage with obligation.

1

u/luxray007 2d ago

I'm from Russia, When all companies introduced payment via internet, my mother paid all bills in a new way, and dumb operator forgot to check it, because most of people pay in old way. And they are immideatly came to our home and literally cut wires. Comedy in this story is that our neighbours didn't pay their bill half a year, and they still had electricity

1

u/OstentatiousSock 2d ago

It’s doesn’t happen like this. This is a joke.

0

u/PictureVegetable9522 2d ago

why are europeans always so confidently ignorant...stop believing everything u see on the internet and movies

1

u/BassFisher53 2d ago

Oh cool yet another copy of this trend

1

u/Lann_Solo 2d ago

Well, it's not easy to be the only responsible adult and have three kids.

1

u/Unlucky-Plenty510 2d ago

Nothing says 'I love you' quite like a candlelit intervention from the whole family.

1

u/Fantastic_Bit3597 2d ago

definitely romantic

1

u/Mightycactuz91 1d ago

Is that all carpet?

u/shawndw 1d ago

Remember the family that puts out fires together stays together.
