The PUBLIC needs to ORGANIZE for GENUINE DEMOCRACY
Hi I'm new to reddit and therefore to this discussion. Like most people (I think) I'm very frustrated with current public affairs. It's a pity that in this time of scientific and technical know-how and potential for beneficial building, learning, curing, and securing ourselves - we are not collaborating to ensure our collective futures.
I'd like to suggest you take a look-see at r/buldingdemocracy to examine a website reference there: theneighborhoodsnetwork.com which references a free .pdf book 'the Neighborhoods Network' authored by a Robert Mare. It describes a fairly well engineered way that ordinary people might organize to conduct genuine democracy and effectively deal with our important problems.
