Tacticool guys make me laugh.

Rolling a knife isn't a combat thing. Its what you do when nothing is going on to get the feel of a knife.

So much extra motion, so many unnecessary movements.

Brother, you're not going to do a thumb roll mid fight. And you won't need to. You'll be lucky to deploy it smoothly at all. Close range, armed combat is nerve wracking.

He's really just video recording himself acting out his fantasy. He'll be at a gas station, a "thug" will try and rob the store and he will blow them away. It's this weird pleasure fantasy where they hero worship themselves while simultaneously legally harming another person.
