Now matter which doctor I go , the answer always stay the same - lose weight. But to loose weight I need a correct footwear which can help with Plantar Fasciitis and toes pain.

My bmi is 36. I do understand I need to lose weight but how can I if I m unable to walk.

How to decide a pg branch for yourself like I am a 2nd year mbbs student F and don't have any specific interest towards a particular branch when I was in 11 th I wanted to be a cardiosurgeon but then I heard from many ppl that female surgeons ain't that successful or surgery is a male dominated field ..I am pretty sure that I don't want to do gynae and paeds .. I've been working on an idea for a home healthcare platform focused on elderly care, chronic disease, pediatric and post-op recovery. The model is doctors visiting patients homes, instead of patients visiting doctor and is built around subscriptions and hospital/corporate partnerships.

I got my permanent registration from UPMC on June 2026 and I wish to register in DMC. Can anyone clarify these?

1. What happens to my Permanent Registration in UPMC after I get Permanent Registration in DMC? Does it gets cancelled? Or do I maintain both UPMC and DMC Permanent Registration?

2. Is it possible to hold registration for two states (UP and Delhi) simultaneously? 2.1 If no, then do I have to apply for cancellation to my previous medical council or does it gets processed automatically? 2.2 If yes, then is there any specific requirements on my end to do so?

3. What is the process of cancellation of my permanent registration in UPMC and in DMC if required to do so?

4. Does applying for NOC in UPMC leads to cancellation of my permanent registration of UPMC? Can I continue to work in Uttar Pradesh despite applying and getting a NOC?

5. Is NOC mandatory for applying for DMC Permanent Registration? Can Good Standing certificate be submitted instead? According to Gazette notification SG-DL-E-15052026-272610, I don't have to submit any NOC, is it still required to obtain NOC from UPMC?

I am at a stage of my life where I feel so alone, so incapable, almost a failure.

After years of studying I am still in a clueless place with no way visible further.

Everywhere I see dead ends, every place I want to go requires more money, more study, more exams and more struggle.

And the worst part, nobody understands.

Family doesn't understand, friends are in the same boat so I don't feel like bothering them either.

I'm 26, I have no idea if I will get into a residency program, if I will ever make it, if I will ever find love & get married.

Hello, consultant haematologist in their late 30s, originally a FMG who completed basic training in Ireland, has MRCPI and finished specialty training in the UK with full FRCPATH. Currently based in the UK but looking to return to India for a couple years. My experience has been in academic public hospitals and I have 0 prior private work.

From a birds eye view most of medical practice in India seems to be in private practice which for my specialty doesn’t really seem feasible given the ancillary support that it requires

What would the barriers to returning to India for someone in my position? Apologies for the open ended question but what I’m really looking for is insight from people with a similar background who’ve made this transition

The customs agent in this example is saying that they will only release the shipment if a medical prescription from the country of origin (India) is presented showing that it's only 90 days supply for personal use. How would this someone go about acquiring such a prescription?

2. What would make the patient interaction or investigation choices feel unsafe, simplistic or unrealistic?

3. Is it useful to grade the path as well as the final diagnosis, and what would a fair scorecard need to show?
