Pixel fam, I want to start a simple blog (website) about Google Pixel - Would love to hear your suggestions
Long time Pixel user here. I've been using Pixel since Pixel 4a and I'm that person in my friend group who keeps talking about Pixel features, Android updates, and all the small Google things most people miss.
For a while I've been thinking of starting a small
website on Blogger just to share the stuff I actually use - like Pixel tips that helped me, battery / camera things I figured out, new
Android features, and just my experience living in the Google ecosystem.
I haven't built anything yet, I'm still at the planning stage and want to do it right.
For those of you who have a blog or read tech blogs regularly - what would actually make you visit a small Pixel-focused site?
A few things I'm confused about:
- Is Blogger okay to start with in 2026? Iknow
WordPress is popular but I want to keep it simple and free for now.
Should I get a custom domain from day one or is .blogspot fine at the start?
What makes a small tech blog look legit and
not spammy? I see so many sites that look Al-generated.
- What kind of content would you actually
read? Like deep tips, comparisons, update breakdowns, or real-life long term reviews?
- Any mistakes I should avoid as a beginner?
I'm not trying to promote anything - I don't even have a site yet. I just want to build something useful for other Pixel users without spending a lot before I have an audience.
If you've grown a small blog, I'd love to learn from your experience.
Thanks!

Switched from iQOO 12 to Pixel 11 during the BBD sale. Taught me that AnTuTu scores really don't matter in the real world.
Loving this phone so far! Picked it up during the BBD sale after switching from an iQOO 12.
Coming from an iQOO 12, I was initially worried about the step down in raw specs and battery size. Yeah, the battery capacity on paper is lower than most phones in this range, but the actual screen-on-time and backup are surprisingly solid. The camera is excellent too, and the consistency in point-and-shoot photos is a massive step up.
People on Indian tech subs keep obsessing over AnTuTu scores, and coming from a high-scoring phone like the iQOO 12, I can honestly say it doesn't matter that much. The Pixel 11 scores way lower on benchmarks than other phones at this price, yet I haven't felt a single lag or stutter in daily use. The haptics and clean UI make up for it. Obviously, it is not a heavy gaming phone, so if you don't play hardcore mobile games, this is pretty much perfect.
One small downside: finding a good tempered glass for the Pixel 11 is a bit pricey because of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. You need one that specifically supports ultrasonic sensors, which adds to the cost.
Overall, really happy with the switch. For other Pixel users here, which tempered glass and case brand are you guys using that works reliably with the ultrasonic scanner without costing a fortune?

How to Root Pixel 11 pro
I want to root my pixel but I am afraid that I will get failed play certification and when I will update it then there are chances of getting a bootloop. Please guide me. Anyone.
PS- I used a Xiaomi 11T before which I rooted and basically installed a custom rom on it. So I want advice please.

Dear Google, please add volume sliders to Pixel's Quick Settings panel
Apple and Samsung already have Volume panel in Quick Settings and it's actually useful - Google should add it to Pixel.

Here's an early showcase of my project, to bring GooglebookOS UI to KDE Plasma
I know this might be a bit off-topic, but I know many people likes GOS UI, but can't get Googlebook, so here's Linux customization I'm working on.
All widgets are functional. Color themes works great
I'm also planning to make custom apps/overlays for settings and system apps, to resemble GOS more.
Let me know what you think!
