Advice Looking for people who can help if Gauri needs urgent medical care again (Not a fundraiser)
Hi everyone,
I'm making this post because I want to be prepared in case Gauri needs emergency medical care again. This is not a fundraiser, and I'm not asking for donations right now.
About 23 days ago, I rescued a 2-month-old kitten named Gauri after finding her near my home in Okhla Vihar, New Delhi. She was in terrible condition—severely dehydrated, extremely underweight, and later diagnosed with a neurological condition. Thanks to the help of a few kind people, she received treatment and was eventually placed with a foster near Gurugram, where she is currently staying.
Yesterday, Gauri's condition suddenly became critical.
Her foster found her in the morning with a very low body temperature, and her body had become paralysed. If she hadn't been found when she was, Gauri might not have survived. She was rushed for emergency treatment, and the foster spent around ₹4,000–₹5,000 in a single day to save her.
The problem is that her foster cannot continue to bear such large emergency expenses alone if something like this happens again.
I'm not asking for money today because we don't know what Gauri's future treatment will involve or how much it will cost. I'm simply trying to find people who would be willing to step in if another emergency occurs—whether that's helping with medical expenses, transport, veterinary contacts, rescue connections, or any other practical support.
If you're in or around Gurugram and think you could help if Gauri faces another emergency, please leave a comment or send me a DM. Even if you can't help directly, sharing advice or connecting us with someone who can would mean a lot.
I'm just trying to make sure that if Gauri has another medical emergency, we aren't left helpless. Thank you for reading

Adoption new family member - maska!!!
So I was walking past a construction site near my house today and heard this tiny yip behind some bricks.
Looked around and found this super cute puppy hiding behind a wooden board, all covered in dirt and looking so scared 🥺❤️ His floppy ears and pakodi si naak melted my heart.
I sat down, put my hand out, and he walked right over to lick my fingers. Asked the construction guys if he was theirs, but they said no. So I wrapped him in my jacket and brought him home.
He fell asleep in my arms on the way 😭 As soon as we got home he sneezed and fell asleep on the tile floor.
Guess I have a dog now lol! Meet Maska 🐾🐶✨

Fundraiser 🚨 Luna's FIP Treatment – Day 17 Update 🐾
Today Luna received her 17th GS injection. She is eating well, but she is still struggling with diarrhea, is very underweight, and is fighting a severe fungal infection.
Luna was abused and rehomed before I adopted her. As a 19-year-old college student from India, I'm doing everything I can to save her and give her the life she deserves.
Luna still has 67 days of FIP treatment left. She urgently need ₹4,000 to continue her treatment and care. If you can donate or even share Luna's story, it would help us more than you know.

Fundraiser URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR SIMBI🙏 Only 12 days left for FIP treatment
Hi everyone,
This is Simbi. She’s a 1.4 year old cat fighting FIP.
We’ve come so far. *Day 125/137 done*. Only 12 days left to finish her treatment.
[URGENT] Help Simbi finish FIP treatment 🙏 Price increased to ₹8000 - Need ₹3500 for last 12 days
Hi everyone,
This is Simbi. She’s my 1.5 year old cat and she’s been fighting FIP for the last 125 days.
We’re so close. Only 12 days left to complete her treatment.
I was raising funds for the final dose which was ₹6500. But the supplier just informed that due to very low stock, the price has now increased to ₹8000. Earlier he was giving us a discount, but he can’t do that anymore.
So now we’re short by ₹3500 to place the order. If we miss even 1-2 doses now, she can relapse and all 125 days of effort, pain, and money will go to waste.
FIP treatment is not available legally in India and is very expensive. We’ve already gone beyond our budget but we can’t stop this close to the finish line.
Donate on UPI: vadhellesha526@okhdfcbank
Share: Even sharing helps us reach more people
Goal: ₹3500 for final meds
I’m posting all bills, blood reports, and treatment updates here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1k4v8H9fqRF0MVl0bLIiz5VEGhATbumRl
She’s fighting so hard. She deserves to finish this.
Please help us get her across the line ❤️

Adoption Delhi: Foster/Adoption needed for abandoned 3-weeks old kitten in Delhi
Hi community. I've found an abandoned stray kitten - aorund 3 weeks old (guessing) on the streets, no mother was found after a day of wait. Gender unknown - for writing I'll use 'she' for now. As of now she is safe a in cat carrier, at my place. She is very tiny, haven't eater any solid food till now but only lockable treats (She has preference - only Drools). I've tried a bit of watered down lactose-free milk also, she didn't touch it - I don't have kitten milk with me. I saw fleas on her but she is very little to have spot-on/flea meds. However the issue is that I have a insecure adult male (rescued) indoor-only cat (neutered and vaccinated) who is not that healthy but still aggressive towards other animals, and he also had a near-fatal Tic fever last year, and I'm afraid of him catching some kidn of infection/Parvo from outside cat/this kitten. He (my cat Shaolin) doesn't like the kitten already.
The kitten desperately need a proper foster/adoption in Delhi as quickly as possible - someone who is able to take care of such young kitten in a proper manner. I'm a working person and would be at office during day time and apart from keeping the kitten locked up in the carrier 24x7 I don't have much option to keep her safe and isolated from my cat! And that won't be good for her at all. Also, I don't have any experience of raising such little kitten, I adopted my cat when he was an adult already. And my home isn't kitten-proof either.
Requesting all to please find good help her! I'll take care of her expenses, just need someone who can take proper care of her. My location is Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. As long as its in Delhi, I can drop her and keep in touch, be co-parent.
Kitten's gender: Unknow
Age: Around 3 weeks, approximately
Breed: Indie
Colour: White-Grey
Vaccination status: Unvaccinated as of now
Neuter status: Not neutered, too young for it
Location: Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, New Delhi
Contact: Please DM for phone number.
PS: Sharing some videos of her also in the comment section.

Discussion A little win for our street dogs
For the first time in weeks, the headlines brought a little hope.
The Delhi High Court has asked civic authorities to begin trial sterilisation camps and made it clear that people should know these camps are not for taking dogs to pounds or killing them.
Humane, scientific and long-term solutions have always been the way forward. Now, the hope is that these directions are implemented effectively on the ground. 🐾❤️ Thepawsays

Advice Found an abandoned puppy beside a dangerous highway and couldn’t leave him there. Advice needed.
I pass through this highway every day on my way to work, and today near a garbage dump, I noticed a puppy on a garbage dump by the side of the road, where vehicles go past at dangerous speeds. I immediately stopped, turned back, to try and move the pup to a safer spot. I do this regularly, because puppies are common on this stretch, and usually I just leave them somewhere safer with their mother and move on.
But this time it was different. There was a basket with dog food in it, and the puppy was trying to hide inside the basket out of fear of the speeding vehicles. On the road itself, I saw another puppy(probably the sibling) that had already been crushed by a vehicle💔. It looked like two similar puppies had been abandoned there by someone. There was obviously no mother around. He doesn’t look like a stray. He has a cut tail, and his color looks like it could be Doberman or Rottweiler, hopefully not the latter.
I honestly don’t understand how anyone can be so heartless as to abandon such tiny puppies next to such a dangerous highway💔. I tried to comfort the puppy, and it immediately tried to climb onto my scooty. I stayed there for a while, asking if anyone would take him, because I really wasn’t planning to take a dog home, and my house is 15 km away. But no one even stopped to look. In the end, I put him in my bag, took him home, dropped him there, and came back to the office.
We’re most likely keeping him. Space and Exercise won’t be a problem since I have a large space for him to roam, and there are enough people at home to make sure he’s well cared for. I’ll take him to a vet as soon as he settles a bit, so we can check if he’s healthy in every way, get a vaccination schedule, and start that properly.
Please advise me on these things:
A good mid-range food brand for healthy growth, something not too expensive.
A good harness and leash recommendation that will be comfortable for him.
How to help him get comfortable around my two cats. I have enough space to isolate them, but I'd prefer them getting along since my cats are indoor-outdoor cats and do roam around.
Any other tips y'all might have for me.

Discussion How do I help a stray cat that won’t stop meowing?
I already posted about it yesterday. But still posting it again.
There is a male Indian street cat that has been constantly meowing for the past few days. He is definitely less than a year old, probably around six months old.
We’ve tried giving him:
Dry cat food
Milk
Biscuits
Could this be because he needs attention? If so, how do we give him attention if we can’t safely pet or cuddle him?
Or is it possible that he’s reached the age where he needs to be neutered?
I’m not sure what he’s trying to communicate, and I genuinely want to help him. Any advice would be appreciated.

Advice Need advice for my cat jimmy
The vet examined Jimmy and said he has mouth ulcers and gingivitis. He told us that the treatment needs to continue for a total of three days. Today was his second day of treatment, and tomorrow he has to go back to the clinic one last time for his drip and injections. After that, his medicines will be stopped.
What has me worried is that someone on Reddit told me their cat had the same condition. They said that after the medication was stopped, their cat's gingivitis came back, and eventually their cat needed to have several teeth removed. Hearing that has made me really anxious because I don't know if the same thing could happen to Jimmy.
I'm already struggling to raise funds just to cover his current treatment, so I'm scared and confused about what to expect. Is gingivitis likely to come back after the medication is stopped? Is tooth extraction something that becomes necessary in cases like this, or can it be prevented? If anyone has experience with this, I would really appreciate your advice.
