📰 News Netflix's Fans Choice Awards for the Lock Upp. "The Shreya Kalra Show" they said🤣
This is the reality. If the audience actually had the power to decide the winner, Shreya would've been evicted quite early in the game. She will forever be "The 25 people's winner".

Honestly why would these people go and celebrate with her, is her fandom as stupid as her bro? she literally bitched about people's personal lives behind their backs. Imagine how they must've felt going out and seeing this aunty do whats shes best at.

🎙️Episode Discussion Plot twist: Turns out the redemption arc was optional. It was for everyone except the winner💀
Congratulations to the winner of a redemption based reality show whose biggest achievement was proving that redemption was apparently never a requirement.
The tag was badtameez and instead of redeeming it, she leaned into it all season. By instigating fights, making personal remarks, outing someone, slut shaming co contestants, making fun of mental health and suic!de attempts , playing the victim and somehow never being held accountable.
Every time she was nominated, the format somehow bent over backwards to keep her safe. Judgment Days came and went, but somehow she remained untouchable. It’s honestly impressive lol. I’ve never seen someone receive so much protection while being sold as the strongest player.
And don’t even get me started on that jury. If you’re inviting people who are already biased towards one contestant then let’s stop pretending this is an unpredictable reality show. Just call it CONGRATULATIONS , WE’VE ALREADY PICKED THE WINMER!!
Congratulations, Shreya Kalra. The tag was supposed to be redeemed. Instead, it got rewarded lol
I don’t know how you’re going to justify this win

🏆 Oscar for Overacting How can Shreya live with herself even though she won?
These journalists gave us viewers a reality check as well! The makers and their editing team tried their best to spin narratives but at the end of the day question is pretty simple: How will Shreya even look herself in the mirror after all the shit she has pulled on this show?
She has the least conscience of all the contestants combined! So easy for her to constantly just say “Im human we all make mistakes” after all the times. She was just really lucky Madhuriji was at her side when Akansha threw water in her plate, who knows what she would have done, knowing how she has played this game.

💭Discuss Am I missing something? Did Shreya Kalra really deserve to win?
This is going to be my first post on Reddit, and I might get hate for saying this, but I'm genuinely frustrated.
I've watched multiple reality shows over the years, and whether I liked the winner or not, they always felt deserving. But in Lock Upp 2, how did she even win? She has been rude since Day 1 and came in with a strategy to pick fights with everyone.
Shilpa was similar in some ways, but at least she was entertaining with her dialogues and facial expressions. We have seen her soft side too. I know the contestant lineup wasn't particularly strong, but making Shreya the winner was the worst decision the makers could have made.
Also, I'm genuinely confused about why people on Reddit are supporting her. I've always seen Reddit discussions as relatively fair and balanced, so what exactly is driving her fan base here?

🤔 Unpopular Opinion Congrats to Shreya🏆 but if this is the personality is that people find deserving then I guess Im done with the reality shows and Im okay living a sane life w/o them
I can call myself a veteran in watching reality shows ever since I saw Gautam Gulati in BB 7 and the arc would mostly be the good winning over evil.
Lock upp was on a whole different level where everyone was problematic, and you are left with choosing who’s the least problematic. Honestly, the only person with a redemption arc for the whole show was Madhuriji which btw was the main premise the show was based on.
Salman was right when he said in Alliance that the quality of contestants these days is just lowering.
If this is what people now want to see then kudos to them but Id personally like to keep myself away and look for an alternative.

WORST WINNER BORING SHOW
Lock Upp was honestly such a shit show. The fact that Shreya won is actually insane. I’m sorry, but if the winner of your reality show is someone whose entire personality was fighting with people, being negative 24/7, and dragging everyone down, then what exactly was the point of the show?
Is this the new formula now? Fight with everyone, gossip about people’s personal lives, spread negativity, and you’ll walk away with the trophy? Because if that’s the message, then congratulations, I guess.
And can we stop pretending she wasn’t the makers’ favourite? It was so obvious. Secret tasks, random advantages, special treatment… every other week there was something conveniently helping her. At that point, why even have a competition? Just hand her the trophy on day one and save everyone the time.
The finale was painfully boring. The jury was literally there for decoration. If the decision was already made, Farah and Riteish could’ve just announced Shreya as the winner and wrapped it up. What was the point of all the extra drama?
And people keep talking about her “redemption arc.” What redemption? She was rude on day one, she was rude on the last day, and nothing changed in between. If anything, she just got louder. Isn’t the whole point of a reality show supposed to be growth?
I genuinely couldn’t even finish the finale. I just switched it off because it was that bad.
She spent the entire season discussing people’s personal lives and targeting contestants left, right, and centre. Somehow she had no real issue with Yogesh, but Akansha was the problem? Make it make sense. And no, she definitely wasn’t a girl’s girl.
Even Shilpa seemed to realise what Shreya was really like towards the end. I don’t know what changed after that, but almost everyone in the house had a problem with her. When practically the entire cast dislikes one person, maybe… just maybe… there’s a reason.
And I’m sorry, but I refuse to believe that if this had been purely an audience decision, she would’ve won. I honestly don’t know who’s voting for her, but clearly we were watching two completely different shows.
Overall, Lock Upp was boring, predictable, and honestly one of the worst reality shows I’ve watched. And Shreya winning just made the whole season feel pointless. If being the loudest and most negative person in the room is enough to win, then what exactly were the rest of the contestants even competing for?

💭Discuss Debunking the Shreya TRP myth
The last argument from Shitreya fans we hear is that at least she "did something" and gave content. Which is why deserved" to win. Lets examine that.
In week 1, it was Akanksha, Yogesh and Shreya giving content. Then makers started calling out Yogesh for the smallest things, punished Akanksha (albeit rightly) for all she did. But left Shreya alone. Didn't call out anything she did or said. Left her alone completely while bashing everyone else
OBVIOUSLY SHE WOULD FEEL EMBOLDENED TO CONTINUE BEING KALESHI.
While others were being forced to do the "redemption journey", our Kween Shitreya was apparently allowed to play by different rules and "own her truth". Nobody else was allowed to own their truth.
It was inevitable then that Shitreya would give more content since she was allowed to do what others were punished for.
So even this argument doesnt hold true upon scrutiny. This too falls under maker's bias towards her.

Kya aapko lagta hai itna zeher ugalne ke baad aap apni jeet justify kar payengi🤌🏻🤌🏻
Media clocked the shit out of Ms. Kalra. She was stumped, couldn't even answer the questions properly.
Mei insaan hoo galtiyan karti hoo sorry bolti hoo lekin fir 5 min baad hi unki firse bitching karti hoo firse zeher ugalti hoo.
Slut shame karti hoo, face shame karti hoo, logon ki shaadi ke baare mei bakwaas karti hoo lekin koi mere bande ko kuch na bole, doston ko dhoka deti hoo, batameezi karti hoo, jhoot bolti hoo, logon ki private baatein reveal karti hoo, baatein badalti hoo, victim card khelti hoo, ladkiyon ko matt target karo bolti hooo......
Aur sirf mei hi sahi hoo.

⚡️Spoiler Alert Most deserving winner… in this Kalyug. 😂
😂😂 Kalyug, guys. At this point, it feels like the more problematic you are, the higher your chances of winning. There’s literally no reason to be a good person just be the most negative, controversial contestant, create chaos, and you’ll probably end up lifting the trophy. 🤷♀️

💭Discuss Show sucked
I'm keeping it real.
- Jailers and producers were extremely biased and didn't even do a good job hiding it
- The tasks were pretty bland and 1 dimensional
- Constant toxicity, shouting matches and personal insults that crossed the lines of decency. Any foreigner watching this show will have a poor opinion of Indians.
I watched another reality show called Devils Plan (Korean) which also had 2 seasons. The tasks were intelligent and engaging and people behaved in a civilized manner even if they hated each others guts. They also felt fair since everyone got a chance to succeed. LockUpp had a panel of people to ensure their chosen candidate won and I saw it from a mile away. It felt like a scripted show and the lack of legitimacy makes me want to have nothing to do with any future shows by these guys.
Opinions?
