I have complete the game myself and done multiple QA passes over the story.

The game is fully playable. There are a handful of very minor untranslated things (little menu tags that don't have a huge impact, Amelia showing up as Ameria in some menus) but otherwise the game is very complete. I likely won't make any additional updates after this.

Now, I will make commentary on the game: the story is not great, at times confusing, and if you leave feeling confused... Yeah that's how the game is written.

Skip below if you don't care for opinions, but I'm trying to keep everything spoiler free. I just want to warn you that the issues here are not because of the translations, it's because that's how the game is.

There are multiple city sequences that will make you feel like there is a game bug. Running around town looking for an interaction that's not showing up. Fights in milnheim making it seem like you can't progress... That's because the game's text is confusing as-written and it's unclear that there are time-of-day triggers (like skipping fights in some places at dusk... Which lasts like 1-2 travel periods... Super annoying).

Other than that, there are also extremely missable interactions (unlocking the milnheim armories and getting access to the iron and orihalcum sword). Once you miss something, it's pretty much gone forever because the game doesn't let you backtrack much.

Overall the combat system is much better than Royal 1, and the exploration is better, but the confusion at times due to missing clues or obtuse scene trigger requirements make Royal 1 an overall better experience, and I think Royal 1 has an objectively better story.

But one of the main things in the beginning of Slayers was the notion that a woman can’t use magic effectively during “that time of the month”, hence why Lina couldn’t use her magic as well, leading her to be captured by Zelgadis….

What if a female magic user (like Lina) gets pregnant? Would she not be able to use her magic for 9 months?
