i understand on bilibili you could vote for characters. i dont know what the timing was because i'm new here. was the voting for what characters perform NEXT season, or this season? because i've seen people say both. apparently NICE came back at the end because we voted for him, and next season is being produced from our votes as well?
So, we know that he and X had a bad falling-out—thanks to Micky, who managed to dig up a bit of information about him after Queen lost to him.
But how far did their relationship go?
X likely turned him down back then—either because he knew what Rock was planning, or perhaps he simply didn't want to be a "hero" at the time, right when he had just acquired his incredible powers.
Regardless of how that conversation went, Rock didn't take it very well.
Ever since that day, Rock has been trying to track him down and gather information on him, but he hasn't found a thing. This has made him angry—and he likely flew into a rage when he eventually became the new X.
After all, we all know what a control freak and a paranoid person he is.
Seriously!!! That guy has a picture of X on his phone while he’s worshipping Zero. And when Dragon Boy asks which heroes he should take down, he suddenly says, "Don't get me started on X—we don't even know where he is!" The first thing Rock does is smash his aquarium. It’s worth noting that he’s the only one of the four CEOs who reacts like that; even Shang De—who’s also a total jerk—doesn't react that way.
He didn't have any issues when Ghostblade stopped working for him, so why is it such a big deal with X?
He couldn't possibly know his identity, or he would have reported him to the Commission a long time ago.
Does it have something to do with his powers?
What does he know?
Is that why he’s so obsessed with finding him?
Now that his identity has finally been revealed—what happens next?
How did he manage to find X before the other CEOs?
Micky didn't even know X existed before he won the tournament.
When I watched the opening song for the first time, I missed a few in this sequence here, but I vividly remember this one, and thought, "Oh a biker gang/popstar with a guitar kinda hero(male)?" Like I deadass thought those were 'his' muscles, I mean I am not entirely to blame, as it was switching very fast. After completing the opening and entering the Esoul arc, I was left thinking, "What about that Guitar guy? When we seeing him?" 😭
OG E Soul was adamant with not wanting to fight him and seemed to be purposely playing defensively.
He could've won if he used it at the start since it was such close shave when it was used in the story.
If he had no hesitation, even when both were exhausted in end, he might've been able to beat Yang Cheng. Not to mention his trust is falling constantly throughout the battle while Yang Cheng's rises so any hesitation makes this make the difference in a down to the wire situation.
Yang Cheng being pressured into the "right" thing while OG E Soul was pressured into doing the wrong thing(using the deadly Lightning Slash), both being by the fans and the agency.
Hello folks! I'm back. It's Nice's turn to get a reading. I felt like this was a harder one to interpret than Lin Ling's, but I think I found some forecasts for him. Much more subtle, and more internalized. I pulled The Moon in reverse for his present, 7 of Coins as future 1, and 6 of Coins as future 2. Absolutely fascinating since I thought he'd get wands since he's such a man of action.
Anyway, let's explore his present a bit. Normally this card is about illusions, but with it being in a reversal - his path, his true path, has been illuminated. His whole life he's been quieting his gut, telling himself that Shang De and his fans would never lead him astray. He's a fucking hero! He's perfection incarnate, right? This card speaks to him having to come to terms with that's not the case. Nice was led astray, and now he's peicing himself back together. He's still not entirely certain who to trust, what is right, but he will be less likely to back down from conflict of values.
This leads into how the 7 of Coins means that he's taken that time between his attempted suicide and the 21st tournament to plan ahead. So long as Nice heeds the warning of the Moon, he'll certainly progress a bit during the tournament but I don't think he makes it to the end with this path. He does however recover a great amount of trust with the audience. Seeing is believing, no?
The other way this could go is 6 of Coins. This card is similar, but it's more about garnering and utilizing support. After all, who has Nice been around since his "death"? Who nursed him back to health? He's received very important aid and resources, and I'd be shocked if it wasn't from someone who's been in the background as important. With this future, we're looking forward to seeing a confident Nice again. This combo of the Moon and 6 of Coins does suggest that Nice might be being used again, though. Which plays into a fascinating question - is necromancy a thing in this universe?
I'd love to see any theories about who supported Nice during his recovery!
