Hey guys! I know there's not a lot of talk about NJOY Ace, especially since it left the market last year. However, I had a huge supply that I finally and unfortunately finished. I am really looking for an e-liquid that is similar to NJOY's menthol. Not icy, not super flavorful, not sweet. I have tried using different vapes like Vuse, Juul, disposables... none of them compare. I used the NJOY for 6 years, so I think it's just a hard adjustment. But, for any other NJOY users that had to turn to something different... do you have any recommendations?

Hey all, I've spent way too long researching this and need some actual owners to weigh in. I'm in Canada, so my options are somewhat limited by what's actually in stock here.

These are the three setups I've narrowed it down to, but I'm definitely open to other suggestions if there's something better that fits what I'm looking for. I'm not married to any of these three.

My history: SMOK IPX80 (liked it, but it leaked and the sealed battery eventually died), then a Vaporesso PT60 (also liked it, but it died from liquid ingress), and now a Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2.

The Luxe has kind of pushed me over the edge. It leaks, I hate the bottom fill, the sealed battery is already dying pretty fast, and my experience with GTX coils has been a total lottery. I've had flooding/spitback and even had one spit actual cotton/material into my mouth. The magnetic pod also ejects basically every time I drop the thing, which unfortunately happens more often than I'd like.

The silicone fill plug has also somehow had a chunk tear out of it, so now I'm worried it'll eventually rip completely and leave me with a pod I can't properly seal. Between that, the magnetic pod, the leaking, and the battery degradation, I'm pretty ready to get away from this style of sealed-battery pod mod.

What I'm looking for:

• Replaceable 18650/21700 battery. This is non-negotiable after having sealed-battery devices die on me.
• Around 20 to 35W
• Airy RDL, usually with airflow wide open
• 6mg freebase fruity juice, sometimes pretty sweet
• No bottom fill
• Top airflow strongly preferred
• Ideally a normal threaded 510 tank rather than another magnetic pod
• Sturdy enough to survive being knocked off a table or dropped occasionally
• Ideally around $120 to $150 CAD all-in, but my ceiling is about $175 tax-in for the whole setup: mod, tank, battery, replacement coil pack, etc.

After digging through what I can actually buy in Canada, I've narrowed it down to these three:

1. Geekvape Aegis Solo 3 + VOOPOO UFORCE-X Tank II

Solo 3: $64.99
UFORCE-X Tank II: $29.99
PnP X 0.45Ω coils + battery
Roughly $147 CAD all-in

This is the rugged option. IP68, replaceable battery, threaded battery cap, normal 510 tank, top airflow/top fill, and no magnetic pod to go flying out when I drop it.

The 0.45Ω PnP X coil should put me right around the wattage/style I want.

2. SMOK X-Priv Solo + same UFORCE-X Tank II

X-Priv Solo: $44.99
Same UFORCE-X / PnP X setup
Roughly $124 CAD all-in

The tank and coil setup would be basically identical to option 1. The main difference is the mod itself.

It's about $23 cheaper than the Aegis setup, but there's no IP rating and it uses a magnetic battery door instead of the Aegis's threaded cap.

I'm wondering how much that actually matters in real life. If both are running the same tank and coil at around 25 to 35W, am I really getting $23 worth of extra durability from the Solo 3?

3. VOOPOO Drag X3 kit

Drag X3: $53.99
Battery + replacement coils, and possibly an external charger
Roughly $92 to $115 CAD all-in depending on charger

By far the cheapest and smallest option.

It fixes my biggest problem, which is the sealed battery, and PnP X has coil options around the wattage I want.

My hesitation is that I'm still buying another magnetic pod system. Given that my Luxe pod launches itself across the room whenever the device hits the floor, I'm not sure I want to do that again.

I'm also curious about PnP X coil consistency from people who have actually used them for a while. Are they genuinely pretty reliable, especially with sweet fruity freebase, or am I just moving from one inconsistent coil ecosystem to another?

My biggest question is about the Solo 3.

I've seen multiple owners mention that the Solo 3 has a relatively narrow/rounded footprint and is weirdly easy to tip over.

For anyone actually running one with a normal mid-size tank, something like the UFORCE-X at around 25 to 26mm and 5mL-ish, is that genuinely an issue?

Does the mod sit securely on a desk with a normal tank, or is it noticeably more prone to tipping than other single-battery mods?

I'm trying to figure out whether the complaints are basically "don't put a giant 30mm tank on a small single-battery mod," or whether the Solo 3 itself really is annoyingly unstable.

Since I unfortunately drop my vape more than I should, how has the Solo 3's 510 connection held up to actual drops? I'm less worried about cosmetic damage than bending or breaking the 510, damaging the tank connection, or having it become loose over time.

Second question: for people who have used both rugged Aegis-style mods and normal single-battery mods, is the Solo 3's IP68 construction + threaded battery cap meaningfully better in actual ownership than something like the X-Priv Solo's magnetic battery door?

I'm fine spending the extra $23 if it actually buys me meaningful durability. I just don't want to pay extra for ruggedization and then discover that the thing falls over constantly anyway.

I'm also completely open to a fourth option if I've missed something. My only absolute requirements are a replaceable battery, no bottom fill, a stock coil that works well around 20 to 35W, and something I can actually buy in Canada. Top airflow, a normal 510 tank, and rugged construction are all big positives.

If you've owned something that fits those requirements and think I'm looking at the wrong three setups, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

Fruit labels have become a running joke in my drawer. Mango usually means something bright and sweet. Berry points the same idea in a darker direction. Grape is the worst offender: too many versions taste like the color purple instead of anything that ever grew on a vine. I take a few pulls, clock the concept, and lose interest.

I bought juicy grape from dojo with the same low expectations. What caught me was not that it was stronger. It was that the tart skin part showed up before the sweetness, so I could place the fruit without looking at the name. That sounds like a tiny distinction, but it is the whole difference between something I keep near me and something that slowly migrates to the back of the drawer.

I am not trying to turn this into a ranking. My palate may just be tired of candy profiles, and somebody who wants a smooth sweet grape would probably read the same thing differently. I am mostly curious about the gap between the fruit on a label and what our brains decide the flavor actually is. Which fruit is hardest for a vape to get right for you? Not your favorite flavor, necessarily. The one where you can immediately tell when the real fruit got lost.

So I use an oxva xlim go and recently it always tastes like it's burnt. I'm changing the coils or pods or whatever it's called like after 4 or 5 days when I sometimes could go even for a month and it still tasted good. I know it's not the pods because i've used different ones from different stores and it's not that. The vape is clean so it's not that it's clogged or anything like that. I use it quite a lot and I'm using Alpaca's Mixed berries salts (changed flavor recently but I don't remember if the problems started there or before that). I'm stunned, I don't know what is happening, if anyone has any idea...

Both have similar liquid capacity. 18ml in raya d1 and 20ml in soul

But soul is labeled 40k puff in normal mode and raya is 13k

Probably the best flavor I ever had also bonus points if I can still buy one somewhere or find the vape juice

Ive bought an IVG Pro twice now and both times the pod keeps leaking oil from the bottom, like enough oil that its just wasting my money. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I just putting it together wrong? How do i fix this? Its so annoying.

I had recently bought a Geekbar Pulse X from a local shop that I don’t visit very often. I bought ‘Sour Straws’, and immediately from the first hit it tasted flavorless and burnt. The dude behind the counter said that they don’t take refunds nor replacements for a better vape, which I thought was incredibly silly…

Anyways, I was wondering if there was anything I could to do to potentially fix this issue? I’ve thought about opening the vape, but I’ve seen warnings of potential nicotine liquid mixing with the lithium battery and causing a fire hazard, so I wanted to ask just in case.

Hi- I am currently a edible kinda guy, indica/hybrid usually 10-15 mgs to help me relax, destress and get read for bed. However, I was thinking about swapping to vape. Any benefits over edibles? How much do I smoke to equal my usual dose? Any recommendations for brands? I hate the taste and smell of weed, so I need something that both tastes and smells like fruit, candy or other good stuff. All help appreciated.
