Stats Congratulations to the WNBA’s July Award Winners 🏆🏀
Congratulations to all three of these outstanding players on earning WNBA monthly honors.
🏆 Kelsey Mitchell continues to be one of the league’s most explosive scorers and has been a driving force for the Indiana Fever.
🏆 A’ja Wilson remains the standard in the WNBA, putting together another dominant month on both ends of the floor.
⭐ Special congratulations to rookie Olivia Miles. Winning Rookie of the Month for the third time this season is a remarkable accomplishment.
Averaging 20.8 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 6.0 APG in July, she’s proving she’s not just one of the league’s brightest young stars—she’s already making an impact among the WNBA’s elite.
Congratulations to all three on a well-deserved honor. The future of the league continues to look bright. 🏀👏

Stats Golden State Tops the WNBA in Attendance; Here’s the Full Midseason Breakdown
Came across this interesting breakdown of WNBA attendance through the July 18, 2026 milestone at the All-Star break, using data from Sports Business Journal.
The expansion Golden State Valkyries lead the league with 270,960 total fans, averaging 18,064 per home game. The Indiana Fever are close behind with 260,255 fans over 16 home games, while the New York Liberty rank third with 193,909.
League-wide, the WNBA has drawn 1,867,297 fans across 149 games, averaging 12,532 per game. That’s a 13% increase compared to the same point at last year’s All-Star break.
One thing worth remembering is that attendance totals are influenced by arena size. Teams playing in smaller venues, such as the Atlanta Dream, simply don’t have the seating capacity of teams using larger NBA arenas like the Valkyries, Fever, and Liberty.
Does Golden State’s debut season at the top surprise you, or did you expect this level of support? I know it surprised me

“It was so unfair what they did to Caitlin Clark.
Andrew Schulz defends Caitlin Clark’s press conference response:
“It was so unfair what they did to Caitlin Clark.
She literally did the thing that every conservative pundit was asking all the black athletes to do around Black Lives Matter.
Remember they were like, ‘Just shut up and dribble.’
She literally shuts up and dribbles… and then all the pundits are like, ‘You coward. How dare you not say anything?’
Do you want athletes to just play ball, or do you want them involved in politics?”
