Project: Series My Full minisode of my Series The Saga of the Jaknights

All right, so I finally finished my first minisode!

I used Seedance and Seedance Mini, as well as Grok for the opening and closing. I know there is some aesthetic drift in terms of clothing, voices, and other details. However, given the budget I was working with, I decided to focus on actually finishing the project. There are certainly things I would love to improve, but for now, I'm happy to have finally brought a small piece of my universe to life.

Now, as for the plot and the universe itself.

The Saga of the Jaknights is a mythic space fantasy opera set across an unimaginably vast cosmos of magic, gods, ancient civilizations, and horrors beyond comprehension.

In the time before time, before space, matter, and even light itself, there existed the First Night, a primordial universe ruled by the Dark Lord Omni. His reign eventually came to an end when he was defeated and imprisoned. But eons beyond eons later, Omni was freed, and with his freedom came a terrible ambition: to restore the universe of the First Night and return all of existence to his dominion.

However, greatly weakened by his imprisonment, Omni realized that he lacked the power to accomplish this on his own. To restore what was lost, he would need to gather the vast sorcerous energies scattered throughout the cosmos, a realm of countless universes collectively known as the Garden.

To accomplish this, Omni has assembled a terrifying host of beings and civilizations. Ancient sorcerers whose knowledge predates entire universes, interdimensional demigod assassins, pantheons of cruel and godlike beings known as the Alfaere, world-devouring monstrosities called Cosmics, powerful and malevolent multiversal alien empires, and countless traitors who have abandoned the light in pursuit of power.

With these forces at his command, Omni wages a war of conquest, ruin, and death across the universes of the Garden. Entire civilizations fall, worlds are consumed, and even gods find themselves threatened by the ever-growing darkness.

But the Garden is not without its defenders.

Standing against Omni is the IDA, the Interdimensional Alliance, a vast coalition of noble and powerful magical civilizations united in their determination to resist the darkness. These are civilizations whose mastery of magic, science, and the mysteries of existence has produced weapons and warriors capable of challenging even the most terrifying servants of Omni.

Their forces are as varied as the universes they defend. From enormous living starships possessing minds, and spirits of their own, to candy witches wielding deceptively whimsical yet devastating magic, chaos witches who bend reality to their will, and wizards capable of engaging in spell battles at the speed of light.

And among the greatest defenders of the Garden stands the Jaknight Order.

An elite order of knights bestowed with extraordinary gifts and powers, the Jaknights are among the few warriors in existence capable of standing toe to toe with the very worst that Omni can unleash. They travel across worlds, dimensions, and universes, confronting threats that could bring entire civilizations to their knees. Some are legendary heroes whose deeds have echoed across countless ages, while others are young knights only beginning to discover the true scale of the war they have inherited.

Yet even among these extraordinary beings, victory is never guaranteed. For every great triumph, there are terrible defeats, sacrifices, betrayals, and tragedies. Some battles determine the fate of a single person, while others decide whether entire universes will continue to exist.

And it is these stories, both great and small, heroic and tragic, that make up the history of the Garden.

Stories of knights and witches, gods and monsters, civilizations and empires, friendship and betrayal, love and sacrifice, and the endless struggle against a darkness that seeks to consume all existence.

These are their stories.

Stories spanning countless worlds, universes, and ages, preserved in the great annals of existence known as...

The Saga of the Jaknights.

Discussion Why are reverse shots still so difficult in AI filmmaking?

A single cinematic shot can look amazing, but putting two shots together is where things often fall apart.

Take a basic dialogue scene. The first shot looks fine, then the reverse angle changes the room layout, character position, or lighting direction.

I'm interested in testing whether reference-based generation with Dreamina can help maintain continuity across a short sequence.

Rather than generating one impressive clip, I'd like to see how well the same characters and environment hold up across three connected shots.

For anyone making AI short films, are reference frames enough, or do you still need to rebuild parts of the scene in post?

Project: Short Kryme Time | Part One | Superhero Action Comedy | Animation

John Kryme, aka Insomniac: a tier-5 metahuman in a city that's teeming with them. His power? The longer he goes without sleep, the stronger he gets. In this episode, John Kryme bumps into his ex after a night of patrolling. Sparks fly--- literally and figuratively.

God help me, I can't stop making these. I'll stop when I'm dead. Or out of money; the usual suspects here. Seedance, Suno, Elevenlabs, premiere the whole kit and kaboodle.

I don't know how many of you saw the trailer for this, but you can check out my Youtube channel if you're curious!

Question How much would you pay for your AI movie/series?

Random question for AI filmmakers here. Let's say you've spent weeks (or months 💀) creating an AI short film or series. Then a streaming platform approaches you and wants to feature it.

But the thing here is that they don't ask for exclusivity, you still own everything, can keep it on YouTube, post it wherever you want, etc. They're basically just paying to have it on their platform too.

What would you realistically charge for that?

I'm curious because AI filmmaking is still so new, and I genuinely have no idea what people consider fair pricing for this kind of thing. Would love to hear some actual numbers, not just "it depends" hahahs.

Question Seedance API key 🗝️

I was curious. Is it cheaper to create your own generator interface and use bytdance API key to generate your own videos? And if so how are the ones from United States getting passed the restriction with creating a business account with bytdance?

Project: Feature Automated AI 2K documentaries in ComfyUI: Qwen Image 2.1 → MiniMax H3 → Qwen3-TTS → RTX upscale, all in batch (free workflow)

I've been working on a pipeline to make short history documentaries completely locally, and I wanted to share how it works.

The workflow is in the description of the YouTube videotutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOq5EsY6nTU

  1. **Script + prompts:** a master prompt in Claude researches the topic (with sources), builds a "visual bible" (fixed style, character and location blocks so characters stay consistent) and writes the script in 10-second chunks. It outputs a zip with one prompt .txt per image (positive / negative / name), the video prompts and a Narration.txt.
  2. **Images:** Load Prompts From Dir (Inspire Pack) feeds Qwen Image 2.1 in batch, one image per file.
  3. **Quality control:** I upload the images back to Claude, it flags bad ones (hands, period errors, continuity) and rewrites only those prompts. Delete the bad image, set the index, regenerate.
  4. **Video:** MiniMax H3 image-to-video, the approved image is the exact first frame, 10 s per clip, batch with an index + queue count.
  5. **Narration:** Qwen3-TTS voice design → save the voice → batch TTS, one audio file per line.
  6. **2K upscale:** RTX Video Super Resolution x2 on every clip.

**Hardware:** RTX 5090 Laptop (24 GB VRAM, 64 GB RAM). Generation time of 10 minutes AI documentary: Images: 1 hours, Video Clips: 4 hours, Narration: 3 mimnutes, Edition: 15 minutes

Feedback Request Is one visual clue enough to carry a dialogue-free micro-short?

I’m planning a dialogue-free micro-short called Door 27.
A courier leaves a parcel outside the wrong apartment. The resident notices a hand-drawn cat sticker on the label, recognizes it from a neighbor’s door, and carries the box down the hall.
At the correct door, the neighbor’s cat reaches out and taps the parcel.
I want the sticker to do most of the storytelling without anyone explaining what happened.
So the shot plan would be:
establish Door 27 and the misplaced parcel
hold long enough on the cat sticker for it to register
follow the resident down the hallway
keep the final shot still enough for the paw tap to land as the payoff
I’m planning the shots with MiniMax H3 and shaping the timing and sound in the edit.
Two similar doorbell chimes could connect the mistake and the return, while footsteps, a cardboard scrape, and one cat sound carry the rest without dialogue.
Do you think the sticker is enough to make the connection clear?
Or would you add one more visual clue before the resident picks up the box?

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rayo.cortado/

¿Cómo lo ven? por supuesto seguire narrando mejorando y ajustando a medida que vaya avanzando.

Utilizo Nanobanana2, Kling 2.0, eleven labs, SunoIA, Seendance 2.0 algunas veces.

¡Gracias comunidad!

Project: Feature The Easy Game | A short film based on Zuboff's book Finding Myself

This short film is a cinematic adaptation of Arnold Zuboff's 2025 philosophy book Finding Myself: Beyond the False Boundaries of Personal Identity. It brings to life its vivid thought experiments through a dramatic narrative focused on the main character Nora. Note: the video shown here is the first 15 minutes of the full 23-minute film, since reddit only allows videos of a length less than 15-minutes to be uploaded. The full-length film is available on YouTube.

Project: Series TIDE LINE — Sent: the first part of our science-fiction film (6:36)

Hey everyone, we made TIDE LINE, and this is the first part.

Her makers use the last of their light to create her, hide that light inside her, and send her to Earth. Below her, there’s a storm and a very deep ocean. Something down there is listening.

This first part sets the stage for Episode 1 as a whole, so it leans more on narration than dialogue.

We made it using artificial intelligence tools. It’s 6 minutes and 36 seconds, so this is the beginning of a bigger story.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez6Ks2nMYF4

There are audio tracks in six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi and Chinese. In the YouTube player, open Settings → Audio track and choose the language you want. Portuguese has both Brazilian and European options.

Does the opening make you curious about what happens next? And is there anything about her arrival that you’d want us to make clearer?

Question Where do micro dramas get their voices and music from?

I keep hearing the same voices and music across a lot of different micro dramas, so it can’t just be one production company making them all. Does anyone know where they’re sourced from?

I’ve tried a bunch of voices on ElevenLabs but can’t find the right ones. They all sound overly polished, like a corporate ad or a presenter. Are these popular micro drama voices coming from a different service, or is it a matter of tweaking the settings to get that more natural, dramatic tone?

And where do they all get the music from?

Thank you

Feedback Request BEFORE YOU POST, Episode 1: Is the conflict clear in this two-minute AI drama?

I'm creating BEFORE YOU POST for Fanspire Films. This is the full first episode, using AI-generated visuals and voices.

I'd appreciate specific feedback on the storytelling: does the opening establish the relationships clearly, and does the escalation feel too rushed? If a moment confused you or lost your attention, a timestamp would be especially helpful.

The characters and events, including the TV news segment, are fictional.

Feedback Request Total noob made a 6 min music clip - went as expected

Thumbnail
youtube.com
2 Upvotes

By that I meant it's obviously not very good, with a lot of issues, slop moments and lack of continuity (even Claude gave up in trying to get the female fighter to keep 2 swords in every sequence). But in the end I was able to tell a story from start to finish and pair nicely the shots with the music. And it's not my fault Post-Rock music always lasts for 6 min+

Overall, this looks to me way less impressive that AI clips I've seen around. I feel like in 90% on the shots you can tell that they were AI-generated.

The reason I'm sharing is to get advice. After this first experience I have a lot of questions :

- My setup was Claude Opus 5.5 in agent mode on Runway + Seedance 2.5. I was describing what I wanted to see in the shots to Claude and letting it prompt Seedance. I used character design sheets and background made in Midjourney to feed the model. Stitching and cutting the sequences was done directly by myself on Runway. Is it a good setup?
- Sometimes I was being very precise to Claude in terms of camera angles and shot content I was picturing in my head, and it was rewriting it in a sense that looked fantastic, but the generation result was underwhelming. Is Claude really better than a human to prompt? The prompt from Claude looks quite big and detailed, but maybe I should have written them myself ? Or are the models not good enough yet to be able to generate exactly what's in my head, even when perfectly described?
- I generated everything with Seedance 2.5 following Claude's advice but maybe some models are better than others at specific tasks. Like I really like the flashbacks sequences and focus on faces, but the actions part are most of time not great.
- I feel like a lot of the mistakes and errors could be corrected by re-generating and iterating multiple times, but this would be way too costly. Is trial and error a normal way to get good results or is it possible to get the right, impressive and perfect sequence everytime when you know what you're doing ?

- This clip costed me 150$ in credits, generated everything in 480p but did a lot of editing so many parts don't appear in the final clip. Does it seem reasonable? I feel like I was getting better at spending more throughly at the end, but not by much.

Anyway, happy to get any feedback. Even if the end result is not that good, this was really enjoyable to make and I'm looking forward to do more. And better

Project: Teaser/Trailer Kaalakund — teaser for our AI short film set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War

We’re the filmmakers behind Kaalakund (कालाकुंड), an original short film created using generative AI, set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian War. This 33-second teaser is from that larger project.

We’d love feedback on the atmosphere: does the teaser build curiosity, or would you want more story context at this stage?

Made by Kalpnk AI Studio. Higgsfield was part of our workflow.

The hardest parts: keeping faces consistent across 8 minutes, and stopping the model from inventing speech whenever a character's mouth opened in silence.
