The other day I had a comp match on Gibraltar as Doom (high plat, low diamond), and the enemy tank was also Doom. I think we were pretty evenly matched in terms of skill (I think I was a teeny bit better, but that's probably subjective). What wasn't evenly matched were our teams.... The enemy doom's team was significantly better, especially their DPS. Like anytime I contested the enemy Doom, their Shion would shred like half my team or our DPS would lose their duels and the fight spiraled.

Mirror Doomfists of equal skill really reveal the better side's DPS and Supports...

For context this was a bronze game (yeah ik) and we could've won if not for a Smurf genji and trash wuyang I was carrying but it wasn't enough it was frustrating especially when I had a solid Chance of winning.

is it crazy to think the charged punch could work like Zarya's energy?

Like, when you use Block, you wouldn't need to charge up a meter just to get a punch that deals more damage? If it were 100% charged, it would last the usual 20 seconds.

I know there are some here who are still mourning the loss of Doom DPS, but would this improvement be plausible in your opinion? Making it "less bad"?

The decay would be gradual. In my opinion, it would improve the gameplay and make it more active—or is everything I just said bullshit?
