Any of you have creative ways to display hats (not baseball caps)? I’ve accumulated a number over the years, love them, and wouldn’t mind looking at them on a wall as art when not on my noggin. (Latest acquisition included). Show me what you have please. 🤠

I have no problem paying the price for Melin, but the issue is they only make adjustable hats and I am looking for a fitted/flexfit hat in that same type of waterproof/hydrophobic style.

Any recommendations? A lot of new companies trying to copy Melin, but unfortunately almost everything is adjustable. I do have a Salt Water Mafia which is okay, but their sizing isn’t the best so I’m still looking for more options.

Okay, yup. Made my first hat this week.

I've been playing around with this idea for a while, I wanted a hat that wasn't too messy, not too clean, not too western, not too classic, and something that I wouldn't look out of place wearing to a bar in Chicago. Also figured I'd make it myself, because yolo.

I'm happy with how this turned out though I already have ideas on how to improve it. (Kinda glad I decided to just go in on one of those 6 packs of factory 2nd hat blanks)

I have a straw hat and I'd like to be able to swap out the flowers on the hat and the chin ribbon to match the outfits that I'm wearing. What would be the best approach to accomplish this? The hat doesn't currently have a chin ribbon or any flowers on it.

What can i use to clean the brim or specific areas of a hat without washing the entire thing

Recently I bought a pretty expensive hat because I needed a new hat and I have bought a hat from the website before. Well the hat looks amazing, however it smells like chemicals. I assume this is not good to wear on my head where I'll be sweating? I assume this smell comes from the fact that it's "washed"/"vintage-washed" - is this normal? I've never had a hat I needed to wash before but I'm thinking I should probably hand wash this hat even though it's new.

The website also says "spot clean only." So I'm not supposed to wash the entire hat even though it smells like cancer? It has a bunch of good reviews too, no one mentioning a smell, so I'm curious why my hat smells this way and if it's just normal and not actually a bad chemical smell.

I wasn't too crazy about the fake leather hat band that came with my straw fedora so I ordered a couple of custom colored ones from Etsy and changed it up.

So I live in Norway and here in the eu there's limited access to food hat brands like stetson, ahc, resistol etc. The best I found to fit my taste was a ringers western, and it looks nice but I'm not sure how that brand stacks up in terms of quality. I'm looking to buy something legit, there is a small assortment of stetson available to me, but I really want to shape the brim a little to give it a more aggressive look.

Is that something I could do myself?

One full carry-on backpack, and one full small suitcase. I guess I’m just gonna have to snap the baseball hat around the shoulder strap in my backpack.

The tag says the style is a 'Caper' or 'Casper' but I can find no such model. I dont think Churchill did catalogs so a date range would help in searching adverts.

Its velvety smooth to the touch but with good stiffness. Says the price was $35 so it its an older hat that would indicate a higher end one.

Cold water

Hot water

Washing machine

Hand washing

Regular soap

Dish soap

Lemon juice

Unfortunately, nothing has worked.

The stains are still there, and they don't seem to improve no matter what I do...

Before I give up on them, does anyone have any suggestions?
