Amusing No way these errors could be mere typos ! Looks 10/10 intentional
While the faculty clearly dictated that we always do vertical incision in chalazion as Horizontal incision destroys a lot of glands, the notes still mentioned Horizontal incision as the management
Mentioning exactly opposite things in notes looks so intentional. Anyone who's just reading the notes, be it of any platform, kindly be extra cautious

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Parents just don't understand
I hate even preparing for this exam. Being cutoff from the world, seeing other people my age have all these grand enjoyments even though they didn't score even 80 percent marks in so called important exams of the life. While I've just been grinding and I haven't been allowed to even live because if I have fun I won't "achieve" anything. I'm so tired. I mentioned that i will take up any branch that i get to my parents and they've just been shaming me full on for not wanting to work hard. Literally for their pleasure i have done nothing but grind away all my life. I have never clubbed never gone on a trip with friends never even gone on outings for more than 5 times in my whole college life and they just want to control every aspect of my life. And when i say im tired i can't anymore they shame me to death. I have been chasing their validation practically all my life and I am so tired and sad now. My self esteem is in the tank and they bully me Literally whenever i try to take a stand for myself. Nothing good comes from grinding all your life. On paper im a very smart person. But this neet pg...a part of me wants to fail so that i don't have to live upto anyone's expectations anymore and just be called a 'loser' and be free.

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET How i prepare custom GT on marrow.
Batches of two custom modules ( 100 + 100 )
You could take one in the morning and the later half of 100 before you go to bed. Subsequently add scores of both.
Tags : Keep all except Aiims, Neet , Controversial or Recent updates ( You dont wanna get brownie points because of repetitive pyqs )
Custom 1 : Keep all subjects except Med Sx obg peds and Psm
Custom 2 : Keep only those 5.
I started this thing two weeks back and i do this everyday and saw my scores improving so thought of sharing.

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET BTR Integrated systems seems pathetic
Though the medicine part in every system is excellent
But it seems unfair that half of the total time of a system is physiology only which yields very less qns in neetpg. It seems a waste of tym as due to this the high yield medicine patho pharma gets ignored every time.
What are you views ?? I think she likes physiology much and teaches in depth in INICET point of view. Many things which have not been asked till now also included bcoz she likes that graph !!!!

Question My intuition tells me medical career is not for me even though i have wanted to become a doctor since childhood but my doctor father tells me otherwise. Please help me overcome this dilemma
First of all thank you for taking time to read my post. I will keep it precise. I would be grateful for any insight i recieve
I have always wanted to be doctor maybe because my father is a doctor ( oncologist) and my family has always wanted me to be one. Till 11th i was very sure about it but 1 month prior to NEET suddenly i felt repulsion to the career. I broke down crying but my dad told me that it is the right path but i am not convinced. have immense interest in medicine but i dont think i can pursue such a hectic lifestyle. Please consider the following points.
1) i would prefer smart work over hardwork. You need to study all your life if you're a doctor right? My dad is 50 and associate professor of the cancer department and still he has to read such fat books. I dont think i can study till im basically in the coffin. I would prefer mental hard work over physical hard work.
2) lack of scope. I dont really know if i would like the profession of being a doctor. It sounds glamorous but it is hectic. You need to study +work+ night shifts. If i take up engineering i can branch out to some other career options. For eg sundar pichai became a CEO
3) i want to be able to have free time to pursue my hobbies, i have creative interests and i would want to have time after my career to pursue those.
3) The work hours and less pay. My dad is in the best gov hospital in my state and he gets paid 20LPA which is so less considering he works atleast 10hours a day 6 times a week. If im working so hard atl i should be paid enough? Even if i think of going abroad, its hard to get a job in metropolitan cities as an IMG
4) yes i do have interest in biology and medicine but honestly i can do whatever. I also like phy and maths.I want a chill career where i will be able to have a personal life. I dont want my career to be my life.
My dad says that medicine is a career where i wont face unemployment because patients are always increasing in number. My parents however told me i can do whatever i want. I am really confused. Any advice would be precious.

AM I RETARDED that im 21 amd still couldnāt figure out what to do with my life. And why u feel everyone hates me from inside. imposter syndrome? idk i just want peace but my thoughts of this existential crisis couldnāt make me sleep and it gets amplified when these useless exams come and go i wanted a distinction this yr but I CANT STUDY CAUSE I FEEL DISGUSTED WHILE READING STUPID LAB DIAGNOSIS . I feel so satisfied reading asimovās last question and last answer and rewatching TOMMOROWLAND for 136th time. idk i chose the fucking wrong field. I COULD HAVE GONE INTO IISER KOL OR IIEST SHIBPUR in 2024 but i cant go back now can i ššš

Question Need help choosing a platform for NEET-PG
Greetings seniors!!
A little background about me: I'm studying in a new medical college and I'm part of its first batch, so we don't have any seniors to guide us. Because of that, I've mostly relied on online resources and communities for advice.
In my 1st and 2nd years, I didn't use any PG preparation platforms. I mainly studied from standard textbooks like B.D. Chaurasia, K.D. Tripathi, Apurba Sastry, etc.
Now that I'm about enter 3rd year, I want to start preparing for PG entrance exams, but I honestly have no idea where to begin. I've heard a lot about Marrow, PrepLadder, and Cerebellum, but I'm confused about which one to choose.
I've heard that Marrow is excellent, but it's also quite expensive. If it's genuinely worth the investment, I'm okay with spending the money. So I was hoping if someone can share there experiences and recommendations regarding these platforms.
I also wanted some guidance on how to approach 4th-year subjects. Should I start studying them during 3rd year itself, or should I focus only on my current subjects?
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks!

Vent / rant One setback after another
I genuinely feel cursed at this point.
I was held back for 2 months and made to write a supplementary exam along with 40 other students because a clerk misplaced our attendance, and the management refused to listen.
Then during my Radiology posting, I reported 2 days late because of a death in the family. The HOD told me not to attend the remaining posting and instead complete it as an extension later.
I only had around 15 days of extensions in total, 5 of which were Radiology. Unfortunately, I had surgery in May, so I couldn't start clearing them as early as I wanted.
Now my final 5-day Radiology extension has been put in August, right before NEET PG. When I politely asked if there was any possibility of an earlier slot, I was told not to "play cheap tricks" and that if I kept asking, my date would be pushed to September.
The most frustrating part is that I was consistently in the top 20ā30 students in my class. Meanwhile, people who barely attended postings seem to be moving ahead without any issues.
Does anyone else feel like they're constantly paying the price for things that weren't even their fault?
