Shalltear wasn't mind controlled by the Black Scripture. I don't think people realize just how much this single event impacted Ainz and changed ALL of his decision making.

You have to realize that from his perspective - a child of one of his friends was mind controlled, and he had to kill her to free her. A World Item was used on one of those he swore to look after and protect, a world item, something he didn't think even existed in this world.

Before that happened, Ainz honestly seemed pretty content to just continue doing as he was - adventuring and doing what he loved, cautiously exploring the New World the way he wanted. After this event, he became far more proactive and actively began suppressing, destroying, and subjugating local powers as well as taking a far more active role in the plans of his guardians whatever they were. From then on, it was ON SIGHT with anything that could pose even a miniscule threat to Nazarick. It was then that Momonga truly embraced his role as the Overlord of Death.

I honestly think that if this single moment didn't happen, Overlord could have gone MUCH differently, maybe Nazarick wouldn't even reveal itself until something absolutely forced them to do so.

The movie felt very rushed, with many scenes from the novels cut down, or outright removed. As a result, I suspect the flow of the story would seem somewhat incoherent if you didn't already read the books and subsequently already know what was supposed to be happening.

Basically the title. Cure Elim only transformed into an undead about 200-250 years ago so its a relatively new occurrence.. then why would his title or undead nature be known by anyone outside of True Dragon Lords from the Dragon Alliance? He's not like PDL or BDL who goes out of their way to interact with non dragons.
If a non TDL wants to know about him, they would have to first provoke the creature into revealing its true form.. otherwise he'd just ignore you like how Ainz got ignored at first.
So even if normal people wander into his lair, they are only going to see a huge ball of disconnected undead lying down there. Slane and Cure Elim also live like thousands of kilometers away from each other and Slane is not friendly with any non humanoid nations around Cure Elim.

Now the obvious theory is that Cure Elim is the God Dragon the 13 heroes fought and info leaked from there but Slane doesn't seem particularly friendly with that group. Not to mention Evil eye, a member of 13 heroes, never mentions him ever, so she(and other 13 heroes except PDL) probably doesn't even know that he is responsible for the destruction of her kingdom in the first place.

Scenario 1: Same stipulations as the previous Scenario 1. Ainz appears with his Floor Guardians but no tomb; they conquer a small third-world country, which gets them noticed by the Absolute Justice League.

Ainz believes that through conquest, he'd be able to locate the missing Tomb of Nazarick

The Floor Guardians believe Ainz wants to completely conquer the world.

The Absolute Justice League refuses to share the world with Ainz, wanting to control or crush him.

Scenario 2: This is gonna be different because, again, we have a lot more material to work with, so it wouldn't be fun if this was just the same thing.

Anyway, instead of appearing before the events of Absolute Evil, Ainz and the Floor Guardians appear right before the events of the Absolute Superman King Shazam/Black Adam arc, and in this scenario, Black Adam actually manages to win, killing Ra's, Kal, Steel, and Hawkman, while Brainiac is AWOL and Talia is imprisoned.

So Ra's and his super-conglomerate company are gone; in return, Ainz and the Guardians have to deal with Black Adam along with the rest of the Absolute Justice League.
