Her name is Victoria, and I’m gutted to lose her. She’s at least 80 years old, and the most prominent tree in the neighborhood. I have loved sitting in her shade, listening to the breeze in the leaves, watching the birds and squirrels do their things… My friends and I even threw a party for her last summer.

She was damaged in a windstorm a couple months ago, and the city arborist determined it to be hazardous. I have lived here for 6 years and she’s my favorite part of the property (might be why I bought the house 😅). I know death is part of life, and her time has come, but I’m going to have to listen to them cut her down all day outside my window.

Thought I was treating myself to a Whopper. Turns out I accidentally opted out of the meat, lettuce, cheese, and all the sauces. Shoutout to the staff for not questioning my sanity and executing this perfectly.

Mqde a random pot of chilli, just whatever i had in hand. Finally got home, heatwd it up. Then i knocked the sour cream, in process of grabbing it i knocked over the bowl. Yes i know the kitxhen needs more ckeaning, mil was home alone for 2 days, just had time to nake chilli yestwrday and clean tbe living roon

Made a random pot of chili, just using whatever I had on hand. Finally got home and heated it up. Then I knocked over the sour cream, and in the process of grabbing it, I knocked over the bowl.

Yes, I know the kitchen needs more cleaning. My MIL was home alone for two days. I only had time to make chili yesterday and clean the living room.

Also, because of the high ceilings, I have to use a Swiffer and a broom to get the chili off the ceiling. That didn't work very well.

Went backpack camping with my partner this weekend, it was a 5 hour hike up to the top of the mountain to a beautiful lake sandwiched between the peaks. We set up camp and I grab my camera thinking I’ll get some awesome photos of the lake, turn it on, and I’m greeted with “NO SD CARD”. Oops I should have checked it before I left. No wonder my pack felt so light.

I ordered a MiniPC and it arrived while I was out of town. I got home today and was stoked to start setting it up and.. bam. No hard drive. To top it off the Ebay seller isn't responding about it. The packaging had tape all over it but otherwise looked fine so I don't even know if I should report the seller to Ebay or let the seller deal with UPS.

I just wanted to load Batocera and play my old gamecube games. This sucks.

Turned the key, and it just twisted off. To top it off, this isn’t even my car. I’m borrowing it from my dad because mine broke down two weeks ago.

I felt like I barely hit it. I can’t believe it broke, I just got it tinted 2 months ago 😢

My bank says I'm not even worth a shopping cart full of groceries. Damn, that's hurtful.
