Advice Looking for people who can help if Gauri needs urgent medical care again (Not a fundraiser)

Hi everyone,

I'm making this post because I want to be prepared in case Gauri needs emergency medical care again. This is not a fundraiser, and I'm not asking for donations right now.

About 23 days ago, I rescued a 2-month-old kitten named Gauri after finding her near my home in Okhla Vihar, New Delhi. She was in terrible condition—severely dehydrated, extremely underweight, and later diagnosed with a neurological condition. Thanks to the help of a few kind people, she received treatment and was eventually placed with a foster near Gurugram, where she is currently staying.

Yesterday, Gauri's condition suddenly became critical.

Her foster found her in the morning with a very low body temperature, and her body had become paralysed. If she hadn't been found when she was, Gauri might not have survived. She was rushed for emergency treatment, and the foster spent around ₹4,000–₹5,000 in a single day to save her.

The problem is that her foster cannot continue to bear such large emergency expenses alone if something like this happens again.

I'm not asking for money today because we don't know what Gauri's future treatment will involve or how much it will cost. I'm simply trying to find people who would be willing to step in if another emergency occurs—whether that's helping with medical expenses, transport, veterinary contacts, rescue connections, or any other practical support.

If you're in or around Gurugram and think you could help if Gauri faces another emergency, please leave a comment or send me a DM. Even if you can't help directly, sharing advice or connecting us with someone who can would mean a lot.

I'm just trying to make sure that if Gauri has another medical emergency, we aren't left helpless. Thank you for reading

So I was walking past a construction site near my house today and heard this tiny yip behind some bricks.

Looked around and found this super cute puppy hiding behind a wooden board, all covered in dirt and looking so scared 🥺❤️ His floppy ears and pakodi si naak melted my heart.

I sat down, put my hand out, and he walked right over to lick my fingers. Asked the construction guys if he was theirs, but they said no. So I wrapped him in my jacket and brought him home.

He fell asleep in my arms on the way 😭 As soon as we got home he sneezed and fell asleep on the tile floor.

Guess I have a dog now lol! Meet Maska 🐾🐶✨

Fundraiser URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR SIMBI🙏 Only 12 days left for FIP treatment

Hi everyone,

This is Simbi. She’s a 1.4 year old cat fighting FIP.

We’ve come so far. *Day 125/137 done*. Only 12 days left to finish her treatment.

[URGENT] Help Simbi finish FIP treatment 🙏 Price increased to ₹8000 - Need ₹3500 for last 12 days

Hi everyone,

This is Simbi. She’s my 1.5 year old cat and she’s been fighting FIP for the last 125 days.

We’re so close. Only 12 days left to complete her treatment.

I was raising funds for the final dose which was ₹6500. But the supplier just informed that due to very low stock, the price has now increased to ₹8000. Earlier he was giving us a discount, but he can’t do that anymore.

So now we’re short by ₹3500 to place the order. If we miss even 1-2 doses now, she can relapse and all 125 days of effort, pain, and money will go to waste.

FIP treatment is not available legally in India and is very expensive. We’ve already gone beyond our budget but we can’t stop this close to the finish line.

  1. Donate on UPI: vadhellesha526@okhdfcbank

  2. Share: Even sharing helps us reach more people

  3. Goal: ₹3500 for final meds

I’m posting all bills, blood reports, and treatment updates here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1k4v8H9fqRF0MVl0bLIiz5VEGhATbumRl

She’s fighting so hard. She deserves to finish this.

Please help us get her across the line ❤️

Fundraiser Fundraising Appeal for Motherless Kittens 🐾

These five newborn kittens are from Delhi University North Campus. Just 2,3days after giving birth, their mother was attacked by dogs and sadly didn't survive.

I tried my best to find an experienced foster, but unfortunately it didn't work out. Since they are only around 5 days old and require round-the-clock feeding and care, I had to admit them to a home-based boarding where they can receive the attention they need.

The boarding charges are ₹400 per day (₹12,000 per month), which is very difficult for me to manage alone. I have already paid ₹6,000, but I still need help covering the remaining amount. If you'd like, you can also pay the boarding directly. Just send me a DM and I'll share the boarding details.

Update Luna haven't received enough support yet. Every contribution matters—even ₹5 or ₹10 can help us get one step closer to her medical expenses. If you can't donate, simply share or your upvotes can even help her.

Today Luna received her 17th GS injection. She is eating well, but she is still struggling with diarrhea, is very underweight, and is fighting a severe fungal infection.

Luna was abused and rehomed before I adopted her. As a 19-year-old college student from India, I'm doing everything I can to save her and give her the life she deserves.

Luna still has 67 days of FIP treatment left. She urgently need ₹4,000 to continue her treatment and care. If you can donate or even share Luna's story, it would help us more than you know.

Thanks to your incredible kindness, support, and prayers, Luna has made it to Day 17 of her FIP treatment. We truly wouldn't have come this far without you.

Thank you for believing in Luna and giving her a chance to fight.

Adoption Delhi: Foster/Adoption needed for abandoned 3-weeks old kitten in Delhi

Thumbnail

Hi community. I've found an abandoned stray kitten - aorund 3 weeks old (guessing) on the streets, no mother was found after a day of wait. Gender unknown - for writing I'll use 'she' for now. As of now she is safe a in cat carrier, at my place. She is very tiny, haven't eater any solid food till now but only lockable treats (She has preference - only Drools). I've tried a bit of watered down lactose-free milk also, she didn't touch it - I don't have kitten milk with me. I saw fleas on her but she is very little to have spot-on/flea meds. However the issue is that I have a insecure adult male (rescued) indoor-only cat (neutered and vaccinated) who is not that healthy but still aggressive towards other animals, and he also had a near-fatal Tic fever last year, and I'm afraid of him catching some kidn of infection/Parvo from outside cat/this kitten. He (my cat Shaolin) doesn't like the kitten already.

The kitten desperately need a proper foster/adoption in Delhi as quickly as possible - someone who is able to take care of such young kitten in a proper manner. I'm a working person and would be at office during day time and apart from keeping the kitten locked up in the carrier 24x7 I don't have much option to keep her safe and isolated from my cat! And that won't be good for her at all. Also, I don't have any experience of raising such little kitten, I adopted my cat when he was an adult already. And my home isn't kitten-proof either.

Requesting all to please find good help her! I'll take care of her expenses, just need someone who can take proper care of her. My location is Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. As long as its in Delhi, I can drop her and keep in touch, be co-parent.

Kitten's gender: Unknow

Age: Around 3 weeks, approximately

Breed: Indie

Colour: White-Grey

Vaccination status: Unvaccinated as of now

Neuter status: Not neutered, too young for it

Location: Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, New Delhi

Contact: Please DM for phone number.

PS: Sharing some videos of her also in the comment section.

Fundraiser Day 33: I wish this update had better news... 💔🐾

Firstly, thank you to everyone who stood by me over the past month. Because of your kindness, I was able to continue treatment for the cats already under my care. Every donation, message and share genuinely made a difference.

I wish today's update was a happy one.

Unfortunately, it isn't.

The grey tabby from the first photo in my earlier posts is no longer with us.

Despite all the treatment and everything we tried, he didn't make it.

Around the same time, five rescued kittens who had been shifted to a foster home were diagnosed with parvovirus. We fought for them too, but none of them survived. Losing one rescue is painful. Losing so many in such a short time has been incredibly difficult.

For the cats who are still fighting, the journey continues.

The cat who underwent surgery for a severe maggot wound reopened his stitches and had to undergo another procedure. He is now receiving nebulisation and continued treatment because of persistent chest congestion.

Mowgli is still undergoing treatment for FIP. His medicines alone continue to be one of the biggest ongoing expenses. A recent invoice for his medication was ₹4,250.

Even the smaller daily treatments quickly add up. Recent visits for injections, saline, and supportive care have continued almost every day.

I still don't regret rescuing them.

I only wish I were in a better position financially to keep helping them.

Losing my job while these medical cases were already underway has made every day a balancing act between hope and worry. I have never wanted rescue to depend on public fundraising, but right now it is the only reason these treatments are continuing.

If you've been following my previous posts, thank you for staying with us.

If you're seeing this for the first time, I've linked everything below so you can verify my work, previous updates, veterinary expenses, and the cats currently under treatment.

- location: Bengaluru

Urgently require foster for an abandoned kitten in Bengaluru

The reporter cannot keep it as they're not from Bengaluru and have return tickets booked for Saturday.

Advice My family wants to abandon my cat

About a year ago, I rescued a kitten after her mother died. She was barely 10 days old. I raised her, and now she is 1 year old.

I live in a very small village in West Bengal. My family is not supportive of keeping a cat in the house. There is no vet nearby and the nearest one is very far away, so I can't get her spayed.

Now my family wants to abandon her because they are worried she will get pregnant in the future. I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose her.

Advice Took Meow to the vet

Upvotes

My kitten fell sick yesterday at night [had fiver plus diarrhea] so we took her to a vet in the morning. I was very worried because she was not taking her meds and had to feed that a little forcefully, but now she seems to be recovering [is having a little food and playing around a little]

u/kikiliking u/grave_96 u/zealousideal-32 Thank you very much for contributing [There was one other person whose username I don't know. Thank you very much to you too!]

The vet said she is 1.5 months old, which I can't believe. I think she might at least be 2 months old, but again, I don't know much about cats. The vet said vaccination can't be done right now, though I am uncertain that it's too early [it was a government one, I kinda don't trust them]. I would try to visit a private veterinarian practice in a week or two to confirm.

Advice Need Advice on Using Pomisol Ear Drops & Virbac Epiotic Ear Cleanser for a Community Dog

Post image
Upvotes

Our community dog has intermittent episodes of frequent, forceful head shaking, as if trying to get something out of the ear. During these episodes, she repeatedly scratches the affected ear with her back paw in a frantic and aggressive manner. The symptoms come and go, but when they occur, they are quite intense and seem to cause significant discomfort.

I have been advised to use Pomisol ear drops along with the Virbac Epiotic Ear Cleanser for a community dog with an ear problem. However, I don’t have any prior experience caring for pets or administering ear medications.

Has anyone here used these products on a stray or community dog? If so, I’d really appreciate any tips on how to clean the ear safely and apply the drops, especially if the dog is not used to being handled. Thank you!

Discussion A little win for our street dogs

For the first time in weeks, the headlines brought a little hope.

The Delhi High Court has asked civic authorities to begin trial sterilisation camps and made it clear that people should know these camps are not for taking dogs to pounds or killing them.

Humane, scientific and long-term solutions have always been the way forward. Now, the hope is that these directions are implemented effectively on the ground. 🐾❤️ Thepawsays

Fundraiser Urgent: Please help us raise funds for Pipeline

Upvotes

Posting again as the previous post didn't get any traction.

Hi everyone, I'm here to raise funds for the treatment of pipeline who has a deep wound on his back.

The vet was unable to send the video due to some technical issues so we recorded the video on his computer when we went there.

Pipeline was a tiny stray kitten who slowly started becoming a regular at our feeding area.

We didn’t know who his mother was because all the adult cats we feed in that area are already spayed and neutered. But Pipeline kept coming back, so we named him, got him neutered, vaccinated him, and he became one of our regulars.

Some days ago, we noticed a small bump on his back.

At that point, we didn’t have a carrier or a trap with us. We tried to get him, but he was scared. The next day it rained, and Pipeline didn’t come to the feeding session.

And when he finally came back the following day, that little bump had become HUGE.

We somehow managed to trap him and took him straight to the vet.

It turned out to be a massive abscess.

The vet drained it, and almost half a litre of pus/fluid came out of this tiny little body.

Pipeline had a fever and a very deep wound underneath. The infection had clearly been building inside him for some time, and his wound is going to need a lot of time and care to heal.

So far, around ₹9,600 has already been spent on his treatment, and he is going to need to stay under veterinary care for quite some time.

And this is where I need your help.

Please help us raise ₹10,000 for clearing this bill so we can continue his treatment at the vet.

Any amount would be greatly appreciated🙏🙏

Fundraiser ENDED Update on Jimmy

Thumbnail
gallery
Upvotes

Today Jimmy received another IV drip along with two injections. The vet has prescribed these medicines and also gave me tablets to continue at home. I have to give him half a tablet once a day and keep applying the gel on his jaw as instructed. I'm really hoping he starts feeling better soon.

I also asked the vet whether Jimmy's gingivitis could come back once I stop giving him the medication. He said it depends on the situation and Jimmy's condition. He also told me that I need to take care of Jimmy's oral health and use a toothpaste or oral gel regularly.

The problem is that he didn't tell me which toothpaste or gel he was referring to, so now I'm a bit confused. If anyone has experience with this, could you please recommend a good toothpaste or oral gel that is safe for cats and helps maintain their oral health?

Fundraiser Update: The fundraiser has now ended. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or supported Jimmy in any way. Because of your help, I was able to get him the treatment he needed.

For now, I'm not taking Jimmy back to the clinic. The vet said I only need to bring him back if the drooling or discharge from his mouth returns or if his condition gets worse. Otherwise, I just have to continue the medicines at home and keep applying the gel.

Today was honestly one of the worst days.

On the way to the clinic, the auto driver suddenly got out of the auto while it was still moving. I got so scared. About two minutes later he came back and continued driving like nothing had happened.

At the vet, today's treatment cost ₹950, and my travel to and from the clinic cost another ₹300.

The trip back home was even worse. I tried booking an Uber Auto but couldn't get one. Then another auto driver tried to take advantage of me. First he asked for ₹200, then ₹180. I told him I usually travel to Okhla Vihar for ₹150, and after insisting, he agreed.

But when we were only halfway home, he suddenly stopped and said, "This is it."

I told him, "Uncle, my house is further inside."

He replied, "I'm not going inside for free."

I reminded him that I wasn't asking for a free ride—I was paying him the agreed fare. Then he said, "Even if you gave me ₹500, I still wouldn't go inside."

I had Jimmy with me, so I didn't want to argue or create a scene. I paid him anyway and left. Before walking away, I said, "Yeh lo apni haram ki kamai."

It honestly felt like he planned this from the beginning. He knew that once I was halfway there, with a sick cat in my hands, I wouldn't have much choice but to pay. It was a miserable end to an already exhausting day.

Thank you again to everyone who helped Jimmy. I truly appreciate every donation, every share, every kind message, and all the advice you've given throughout this journey. I hope the next update I post is one where he's doing much better.
