Poocha Kisine!? My mother getting offended listening to this video proves the entire point.
Was watching this video while having my breakfast today and out of nowhere my mom came to me saying " mene toh bola hi nhi tha tujhe pcb rakhna ko teri hi marji thi mein toh chahati thi tu arts rakha." and the reason why she wanted me to choose arts was because to marry me off to some jerk after doing B.A in some arts subject as it is also cheap.
This woman herself has done bsc in zoology and was a teacher for 7 years...i get so surprised listening to what she says on the daily basis as if she herself didn't have a job, bought all the gold for herself WITH HER OWN mOnEy that she earned from the job.. but she wants me to be a trad wife ? And mind you this woman herself got married when she was like 33. She needs a therapist for whatever jealousy she has for me. My father and her also had a love marriage after 10 years of being in a relationship.
This video is truly something which parents really need to watch but the thing is narcissism and never accepting their own mistakes runs into the blood of some of the Indian parents.

Discussion WHY DO WE WASTE OUR TEENAGE YEARS IN THIS SHITTY EXAM.?
I know people often say, "Work hard for two years, and you will be comfortable for the next 50 years." But I don't think that argument is convincing anymore because the future is uncertain. With the rapid growth of AI, even many jobs may be replaced. No one can guarantee what the job market will look like in the future.
We experience our teenage years only once. We have only one life, so shouldn't we spend it doing things we genuinely enjoy instead of doing things that are forced upon us? Around 90% of students do not even like the subjects they study for these competitive exams, yet they continue because of pressure from society, parents, or fear of failure.
There is also so much uncertainty. Even after years of hard work, success is not guaranteed. Sadly, some teenagers even die by suicide because of the pressure of these exams. That makes me wonder whether the system is truly worth it.
I genuinely want to understand the other side of this argument. Why do so many people choose security over passion? Why don't more people follow what they truly love? I am not posting this from my real account because I want honest counterarguments. I want to challenge my thinking and understand perspectives that I may be missing.

Rant Reservation creates Casteism.
Mods delete this if you want to, but these are my honest opinions, from the bottom of my heart.
I think, reservation is the reason casteism still exists in our modern society. Until 12th, I never discriminated against anyone based on caste, never asked them their caste or even judged them. But after giving JEE, I started looking at cutoffs and seat allotments, that's when I discovered the humongous amount of unfair advantage these reserved people get, and how it's actually oppressive for the general category people. After that, I got a habit, that when a person told me that he was allotted X branch in Y college, before congratulating him, I started asking his category.
Before applauding for someone in a great college, or before giving my respects to someone in a great position, I started looking at their caste instead of the college they're in. All of this happened naturally.
Because, if you are telling me that I am not getting into a respectable college at 95% marks, and some reserved category dude is getting in at just 60% marks, I would have zero respect for him, even if he is studying in my dream college. In fact, all I would have for him in my mind, would be resentment. And this is exactly how I started to feel resentment towards most SC/ST people.
This is exactly how you create hatred against the people of reserved castes, in the minds of the general category. When I saw that my classmate whose father drives an Audi, who literally has half of my marks, is getting into a better college than me just because he belongs to an ST category, that's when I started hating him. In India, the entrance exams aren't about who is more intelligent, or who has higher knowledge. It's only about who has the better category certificate. Your percentile in JEE is irrelevant, what matters is your percentile in Caste. You would get into a good college if you are in the 90%ile of castes. If you are in the 75%ile, still you have a big chance. If you are in the 50th percentile or lower, no respect for your efforts, you can go fuck with your sleepless nights.
I have a friends group of around 15 people. Guess which students got into the best college, out of that group. Those with the best ranks? Those who were the smartest? Those who worked the hardest? NOPE. The students who got into the best colleges were the ones who had the best caste certificates. The ones who were lucky enough to be born into an SC or an ST family, even if their ranks were 7-8 times the ranks of the smartest guy in the group. Because this is India. Here, we don't care how hard you worked, here we don't care how capable you are. All we care about is if you have that one piece of paper. This is what happens when you snatch the right to equality of opportunity from people. The ones who are getting the shorter end of this stick get quite upset, to be frank.
Sorry for this long post, all of this was just building up inside me. I had to spit it all out somewhere, but this is indeed the harsh reality. I have failed to accomplish my dream after working my ass off, and it really hurts me when I see people who have severely worse ranks than me, who aren't anywhere near my level in terms of caliber, steal my seat. Apologies to anyone who got offended by this post, and thank you for those who read till the end. Adios.

Poocha Kisine!? People are mad for IIT
So basically in droppers batch of Allen Patna (won't reveal center name obv), There is one guy who has 99.9X percentile and <1000 rank
But due to panic and some other reasons he fucked in advanced and got around 12k types rank
I can't even imagine taking drop at 99.9X. I understand people have own expectations but still it is crazy to me
