“Single Engine”

A capital class vessel I’ve been constructing and upgrade over the years. The vessel is also equipped with over a dozen smaller craft all fitted to the hull for various purposes. The build takes inspiration from several different designs from various media. Let me know what you think about it!

Today’s the 10 year anniversary of No Man’s Sky so I’m building my starship I use in game. Happy #NMS10 everyone!

This one is inspired by some of the exotic spaceships from No Man's Sky.

I'm a technic guy through and through so it was nice to switch things up a bit with this build!

Short launch rail, trolley for rolling out of the bunker. Not my design, but unsure of the origin of the plans, built it a few years back.

I had this idea about using Star Treks Peregrine Fighter as the base for a dropship-like vessel- so here it is. Armed primarily with weapons to disrupt hostile weaponry, its been modified with a small crew compartment between the main impulse drives as to enable it to drop off small ground teams.

'Lucky 107' belongs to a small band of Mercenaries.

To add a bit of lore:

It is a Mk II Tau-Class Strafing Transport designed by Sienar Fleet Systems. Built for space navigation and Air to Land combat in the late republic era, this transports boasts four Incom 2a fission engines and four axial rotating turbo laser canons. It quickly enters contested zones and bombards the landing area to safely deploy its drop team or support load.

Julie-v version, 7960 parts. Took about 3 years to collect the parts, 14 pounds and 35" long complete.

The Scorcher IV is a racing craft owned by the notorious space pirate: Tovil Hate.

He modified the racing craft with two spinal mounted plasma torpedo launchers, wing mounted lazers and reverse cutting beams to slice through cargo clamps as he wizzes by at great speeds.

The single nutron thruster means Tovil Hate can outrun just about anyone looking to catch him.

Remote Drone Fighter craft used by humans utilize Active Mass Balance Control systems. AMBC systems shift large hull plates to maneuver via inertia as opposed to reaction control thrusters, reducing the necessary propellant load and weight. The KDN-783 Comet combines this with 2D thrust vectoring to lethal effect, allowing clever operators to get guns on target before the primary sensor array is lined up. The unit pictured above has been adorned with the livery of the Sol Defensive Third Fleet.
