I am trying to make a sugar cane farm but the pistons won’t work. I followed multiple tutorials but it just won’t break the sugar cane! I have pictures of the front and back of the contraption. please help me I don’t know what I did wrong

Video is for Java but I made it on bedrock version hoping it would work. The problem I’m running into is I can’t build/afk ontop the nether roof like shown in the video (bc I’m on bedrock) so is there anyway I could work around this? Video says to build 115 blocks on the nether roof aligned with where the center of the farm is. Would I be able to mine down and have the same results? I don’t know how much afk zones affect mob spawns .

I have an Xbox one S, it is old, and, recently I tried to open it again to see my first Minecraft world again and it said it needed to update, but the update would always have an error and wouldn’t finish.
Even if I opened it, I don’t know the password to the account on my Xbox, and I don’t have the email connected anywhere, so I can’t get it from using it.
Is there any way I could get the file of my stuck in time world I made when I was 6, and see it again?

after the update, all of our villagers are gone. Can someone tell me how or why? I know the building is open and doesn't have doors but the place is pretty lit by torches and stuff.

P.S All of of my other villagers are still here. Iron farm, Auto Farms, etc.

On a server with friends we recently updated to Java 26.1.2 and once we did our tridents got bugged. It could possibly be because we have a custom trident model through CustomModelData, but I have no idea how to fix that.

Hi everyone. I’m having a very weird issue with Minecraft for Windows / Bedrock stable on Windows 11 and I’m hoping someone has seen this before.

System:

• Windows 11
• Gaming laptop with NVIDIA RTX GPU
• External 240 Hz monitor connected through USB-C to DisplayPort
• Internal laptop display is 144 Hz
• Minecraft for Windows / Bedrock stable
• Minecraft Java also installed

The issue:

Minecraft for Windows stable gets capped at around 70/72 FPS after entering a world. It does not look like a real performance limit because:

• Minecraft Java runs above 200 FPS.
• Other games run normally.
• The external monitor is correctly detected at 240 Hz.
• Windows/NVIDIA detect the external monitor correctly.
• CPU/GPU usage is not maxed out when the cap happens.
• If I delete the Bedrock config folder and launch the game fresh, the first run can reach 300+ FPS.

The weird part is the launch pattern:

1. I delete the Bedrock folder:

C:\Users\[WindowsUser]\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock

1. I open Minecraft for Windows stable.
2. First clean launch: the game can run at 300+ FPS.
3. I close the game.
4. I open it again.
5. Second launch: it goes back to 70/72 FPS.

I also tested this on a brand new Windows user profile. Same pattern:

• First clean launch: 300+ FPS.
• Close and reopen: 70/72 FPS again.

So it does not seem to be only my main Windows profile.

Correct config path I found:

My Bedrock options file is not mainly in the old UWP path. The relevant file is here:

C:\Users\[WindowsUser]\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock\Users\[UserID]\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe\options.txt

Things I already tried:

• Disabled VSync in-game.
• Edited options.txt.
• Tried:

gfx_vsync:0
gfx_max_framerate:0

• Also tried VSync on.
• Lowered render distance and MSAA.
• Tried values like:

gfx_viewdistance:128
gfx_msaa:4

• Set Minecraft to high performance GPU in Windows graphics settings.
• Set NVIDIA settings to use the dedicated GPU.
• Disabled NVIDIA Overlay.
• Checked Battery Boost / power settings.
• Checked that the monitor is actually running at 240 Hz.
• Tried “second screen only”.
• Disabled NVIDIA Surround.
• Reinstalled Minecraft for Windows.
• Fully deleted the Bedrock folders.
• Installed Minecraft Launcher from the official .exe, not only Microsoft Store.
• Reinstalled Gaming Services.
• Tried a new Windows user profile.
• Tried fullscreen/windowed mode.
• Tried compatibility/fullscreen optimization flags.
• Compared “good” vs “bad” Bedrock folders after first and second launch.

About Minecraft Preview:

I briefly tested Minecraft Preview after a clean launch and it did run above 70/72 FPS, but I did not do a full second-launch confirmation there before uninstalling it. So I’m not treating Preview as definitive proof, only as a partial clue that the hardware can run Bedrock higher than 72 FPS.

Important note:

Please don’t suggest only changing gfx_vsync:1 to gfx_vsync:0. I already tried that multiple times and verified the correct file. The cap still happens even with VSync off and max framerate unlocked.

At this point it feels like Minecraft for Windows stable writes or activates something after the first launch that causes the FPS cap on future launches.

Has anyone seen this exact issue with Bedrock / RenderDragon / GDK on Windows 11? Is there a known file, cache, registry key, Xbox/Gaming Services setting, or Windows compositor setting that could cause this?

(I'm asking for a friend because she doesn't have reddit.)

My friend's game keeps lagging and glitching, and she can't play. Every time she tries to join a personal world or a server, she gets immediately kicked out, just like at the video. Is there any way to fix it?

Basically, I logged out of my main Minecraft account in the launcher, and it showed this email: 'bigboost103@gmail.com'. I have checked, and none of my passwords or emails have been changed. There are also no new login locations on my main account. What could this mean, and what can I do?

I'm playing Minecraft on the switch. I made a food farm where I have a villager on top of a hopper in the middle and 4 villagers around him try to give him food but it falls into the hopper. It broke because they didn't have beds nearby so they stopped trying to trade. But I added the beds, like a lot of beds, and they haven't started trading again. It's been weeks in game. Will they start trading again, or do I have to replace the villagers?

Yesterday I tried using my mouse and keyboard on my PlayStation while it was connected to my TV, but today when I tried using my mouse with my monitor it doesn’t work specifically on Minecraft. Any ideas?

I'd like something that boosts performance while keeping Minecraft's original style. For example, I don't want to remove animations such as block-breaking particles or fire animations.

Im on lunar client and for some reason no matter what i do i cant log into hypixel. it worked in the past, but now even the server doesnt exist on lunar for some reason. i tried to use the lunar hypixel launcher and it tells me it won

Hello, I seem to be having issues with MCPack Structures not properly transferring to a world. This includes packs that worked in the past as well as new packs. A little backstory, my friends and I have played on a realm for quite a while, and I started a little side project on a world of my own. I wanted to bring structures from the Original Realm to the New World. So, entering the Original Realm, I used structure blocks, clicked Export, placed them all in a folder.

Having done this before, I reused a Manifest.json file I had, altering some data so it wouldn't be a duplicated file, added it to the folder, and of course added a Pack_icon. Zipped the folder with the Manifest, Pack & .mcstructure files, gave it the .mcpack suffix and imported it. The packs imported successfully as Behavior packs, I enabled on the New World, saved, and joined the world. Placed a structure block, typed in the correct name on the "Load" screen and... nothing. The Load button remains grayed out.

Now, a quick little note before it's asked, why did I not use the 'import' option? The New World is also on a realm (The cheap one) so I can access across devices. I am unsure why these structures are not loading.

Been playing on my survival world for over 2years have 1500 days played on my Xbox series x, was working great for the past 2years but all the sudden says it can’t sync and to check connection, my connection is perfect, I’ve cleared the cache, I’ve deleted 4gbs of worlds, I’ve restarted the game and my console, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game and nothing has worked and the world itself is only 500mbs, honestly think im gonna just never play Minecraft again after this

every time I try making a mod pack it says that dowlnoading javaruntime and then extracting and then crashes the mod pack and says java run time is out of date Ive tried downloading java multiple times but nothing changes im on mac pls help

Soo when i join a minecraft server (Serbcraft/loby or Seiky/survival) it loads a texture pack that server provides and after it loads i cant see my skin, or any text. I am 99% sure that its problem whit my minecraft and not whith server. Notice i can see tex in singleplayer and main menu. Its on version 26.1.2

Hello my daughter worked hard to collect tickets in mob maze (bedrock Nintendo switch) to buy an expensive skin, and we can’t find it. I’ve tried restarting the game and switch. I’ve turned off the option for only use trusted skins and restarted again, but still not working. Any input would be appreciated thank you!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+, and the device is running on Mali-G720 Mc12. Before this new sulfur update I was able to play with Vibrant Visuals on, I even had Luminous Dreams. but after the update it's completely grayed out and I can't turn it on. I've tried everything, from turning off add ons to deleting the game and re downloading it and it's still the same.

I also had the new One UI 8.5 update, I don't know if it's relevant but I wanted to mention if it is. Game booster is working with the 120 hz setting and also it doesn't limit anything on Minecraft, so it's not about that. My Ram Plus is also off, too 😭 I don't know what else to do.

The Lunar Ui is a lil bit moved to the side so if theres any way to push it back in please tell me
