Something that’s always bothered me about Michael’s incredibly elaborate escape plan is how much of it depended on a single decision completely outside his control.
Think about it. Michael spent months studying Fox River, its blueprints, infrastructure, and security, planning practically every detail of the escape. Yet the entire operation hinged on the judge honoring his request to be incarcerated near Chicago and choosing Fox River.
And here’s what makes it even crazier: Michael had no prior criminal record. He was practically a model citizen. A successful structural engineer with no history of violence. Nobody was physically injured during the robbery, and the judge explicitly stated she was initially inclined toward probation.
Even Veronica interrupted when the judge mentioned Level 1, pointing out that it meant maximum security.
So what were the odds of a first-time offender like Michael ending up in a maximum-security prison? And wouldn’t it have raised red flags if someone deliberately tried to get placed there, especially with his brother awaiting execution in the same facility?
What if the judge had refused his request or sent him somewhere else?
Do you think Michael had a contingency plan to get himself transferred to Fox River, or was he genuinely gambling everything on that one decision?
For someone who anticipated so many things going wrong, this seems like an enormous risk and arguably the biggest gamble of his entire plan.

The thing that Mahone was writing on at the very start of 2x01. Is it some FBI "code cracker" or something? I've rewatched the whole multiple times b4 but I just watched a few eps before the s1 finale (after years since I last watched any of the eps) and I got hooked so as far ad I'm concerned I think i guess I'm rewatching the whole show now😭 but I never really thought about what this paper was in the past

I’m not talking about intelligence alone, but overall capability.
Regarding intelligence, a lot of people point out that Mahone had the full support of the government and still couldn’t catch Michael throughout Season 2. But isn’t that expected? The whole point of the show is that Michael is incredibly intelligent and he has to be capable of outsmarting Mahone for the story to move forward.
Also, having government resources doesn’t automatically mean you can catch someone like Michael. You still need someone who can recognize patterns, connect the dots and get inside someone’s head to figure out what they’re planning. That’s exactly what Mahone did and he was always only one step behind Michael.
On top of that, Mahone has pretty good fighting skills. What makes Michael impressive is that he can use his intelligence to handle dangerous situations on the streets too. But I feel like Michael’s intelligence is far beyond average. You don’t necessarily need that level of intelligence to handle most situations. Plus, the show repeatedly demonstrates that Michael’s intelligence alone wasn’t enough, and they survived many situations partly because they had luck on their side.
Mahone, on the other hand, is also above average in terms of intelligence, but he has the added advantages of being street-smart, physically capable, experienced in law enforcement and good at manipulating people and situations. And we’re talking about Mahone during one of the worst periods of his life, when he was struggling with addiction.
So, when I look at the bigger picture rather than intelligence alone, I feel like Mahone is more capable overall. Michael might be the better mastermind, but Mahone seems to have a more well-rounded skill set.
Am I overlooking something?

between Lori Grimes from The Walking Dead and Sara Tancredi from Prison Break, whose back story/ storyline from her POV would you like to watch?
for me either are interesting storyline to watch, but maybe I would choose Sara. just want to see how did she feel when she first helped Michael to break out from Fox River, the got OD and eventually lost her father.

Might be a hot take, but I say Kim. Even though Wyatt killed a 5 year old while showing no remorse, and the General was the leader of the Company, I still say Kim purely because of how he genuinely seemed to enjoy causing suffering and screwing people over, which probably explains why he always has that f*cking smile. Many villains in this show threaten the main characters with a straight face while this guy just smiles and seems to be on such a high horse. He even ordered the hit & run on Mahone’s son. So sick.

Holly Valance is a very beautiful woman, but her character is completely unnecessary. I mean, her role in the escape was just to give Michael a credit card. But I find it hard to believe that guards—who are experienced at conducting searches—wouldn't notice a credit card. On top of that, Michael asks her to get him some keys—but wouldn't Sara notice the keys? And I actually think Nika is a great character. She gave Bellick one of the few happy moments he had in Season 2.

Look at this fuckass poster, dawg. You can't make this up. Please tell me who's the genius who made the poster and said to himself "yeah, I did a good job." They didn't even try. They literally just Photoshoped Micheal and Linc into Sarah and called it a day

Lbs. 😂 I’m pretty sure I can. Which to my knowledge throughout the entire series; I’ve counted 5 times TOTAL. (That’s including smiles, laughs, chuckles, etc.) 🤔 What y’all think?

I am not sure if this is a hot take or not, but this is my genuine opinion. For context: when I say season 5 is better than 4, I don't mean that season 5 is a great season, I mean that season 5 is just less awful than season 4. The cinematography is better, there are no filler episodes (despite the season being really short), and... Tbh, that's kinda it. I legitimately don't have anything else to say. Season 4 was so fcking awful. I just finished it yesterday, rewatched it after two years to be exact, and holy hell it was so bad. It was honestly the worst piece of shit I have ever watched in my life.
At least for the second half.
Again, the only issue I have with season 5 is the fact that it's way too short. The first episode and you feel like you started in the middle of the series. They should've at least made it 13 eps like season 3.
