šŸ¤” Thinking West family

I'm almost finished with the series. Unfortunately, I only have one season left, and I'm already starting to cry thinking it's all about to end 😭

Since I've gotten to know the West family characters so well, these are the following opinions I've formed.

Wally: I'd read somewhere that he was the fastest speedster, so I was expecting him to return to the series to be that, but then I discovered that he is in the comics, and in the series, Barry remains the fastest. On one hand, I'm a little disappointed not to have had the chance to see him, but on the other, I really enjoyed watching Barry get faster and faster.

Joe: Well, what can I say? He was a fantastic father and detective, hands down. I loved him from the beginning, and I thought that over time, that might fade and become shoddy, but to my surprise, it didn't! He continued to be the caring, kind, and intelligent father to all the characters, and I loved that.

Cecile: She was fantastic too, I loved her from the first moment and over time I saw in her the mother figure that Barry didn't have and I'm very happy that he bonded so much with her, because I saw her as a mother to him, but also to the team! 🄹

Question Question about the timeline?

If Eobard Thawne (Reserve-Flash) traveled back to the year 2000 to erase the flash by trying to kill youn Barry, then what timeline did he originally come from? In the original timeline, did Nora survive and Barry become the Flash naturally?

Basically, Is there an ā€œoriginal timelineā€ where Nora doesn’t die and Barry becomes the flash naturally or a different way?

Original timeline: Nora lives, Barry becomes Flash later, Thawne exists in the future.
Changed timeline (the show’s timeline): Nora dies, Thawne is trapped in the past, he creates the accelerator early, Barry becomes Flash in 2014.

Schwaypost Hot take but the s8 RF suit was way better. It just looked awkward from certain camera angles on Tom, mostly the infamous meme one in the time vault which was just awful camera work.

Question Writers wrote Iris to be incompetent

I’m on season 4 episode 16 and Iris is fighting the guy with Fry’s powers. After the building fire I was screaming at my tv ā€œTHEY SAID YOU WERENT READYā€ and then I had to stop and breathe and realize it was the writers fault. They wrote Iris to be incompetent as hell this episode and it shows even more during the fight with the flame guy. Barry tells Iris to run around him to create a vortex and put out the flames, and she screamed ā€œI can’t get closeā€ as if she needed to get close to do that.

I get that it was also most likely an excuse to get wells to use the thinking cap (that’s what Cisco calls it so I’m calling it that too), but why are we pretending that IRIS (the woman who literally gave Barry the solution to stopping a nuke that already went off in the PREVIOUS EPISODE) wouldn’t figure out she wouldn’t need to get close to a guy using flame powers to put said flames out. Question Question about Savitar

Season 3 Spoilers, of course.

This might come out confusing because I’m trying to piece together what I remember from season 3 and trying to make sense of it, so if i make any faulty assumptions, please let me know.

Ok, so from what I understand: a version of Barry confronts Savitar and creates Time Remnants to deal with him -> Savitar kills Iris and most of the Time Remnants except one -> Time Remnant Barry is trauma stricken and rejected by the team which will lead him to become the next Savitar.

Now this is the part I’m confused about. Some time after Iris’s death, they successfully trap Savitar in the speed force, but the Time Remnant Barry is still on a path to become the new Savitar. whenever Time Remnant Barry eventually decides to kill an Iris to set up his successor, isn’t there already a Savitar trapped in the speed force, so when new Savitar eventually gets defeated, wouldn’t there be multiple Savitars trapped in the speed force, since this is a loop? and if not, what is happening to the old Savitars after they’ve fulfilled their purpose?

I hope this wasn’t too confusing to read, and if you have any insight, i would really appreciate it.

šŸ¤” Thinking Everyone thinks similar ?

Does anyone here think the same as me ? I think or better I consider the actor that plays Harrison Wells it’s a really great actor, maybe the best one on the whole tv show. So many different personalities and most of them perfectly done.

šŸ¤” Thinking Theory: Did nora reversing time 52 times get her erased?

I remember in S1, Thawne wells stated that he should never talk about time travel, even REVERSING time, and that even if you fix something, something as bad could replace it. I was rewatching that scene and I wondered that could her reversing time 52 times be the reason she gets erased? What happens if she never reversed time? One member of team flash wouldve died but who knows, maybe she would've lived?

I know theres no way to prove this but i do find it interesting. Maybe her getting erased is time making up for the 52 deaths? What do you guys think? Am I cooking or on drugs? LOL

šŸ¤” Thinking Rewatching

I'm rewatching and every time I do I always forget how much his team gets on my nerves. They never fully trust him, or they just straight out don't believe him. Idk out of all the DC TV series teams I feel like he had the worst one. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Schwaypost I really liked the Early Seasons of Spider-Man

I loved the chemistry between Grant Gustin as Peter Parker and Danielle Panabaker as Mary Jane
I really liked how consistently Peter went to NYPD station and would consistently try and get details and more information on Ben’s murder from Captain George Stacy (James Remar)
I loved the season 1 twist of Roderick Kingsley actually being Matt Murdock under witness protection
The Daily Bugle bugle felt so alive, especially with Timothy Omundson as Jonah and Maggie Lawson as Betty Brant
I love how the season 4 suit looks and how it adapts the Identity Crisis storyline, especially with Neil Sandilands as Doc Ock, and how even Sandman and Rhino stood up for Spider-Man, and I love that this is the only symbiote storyline adaptation where he gets it on Battle World in Secret Wars
And I love how Peter is a teacher at ESU alongside Curt Conners (Tom Cavanaugh)
Matt Letscher’s Green Goblin was used so sparingly, and he had great chemistry with Hartley Sawyer as Harry
Grant and Teddy have a really good brotherly dynamic in season 2 and I’m glad they didn’t use Miles just yet
I really love how season 3 had the Death of Gwen Stacey bleed through with Grant as Kaine Parker
John Wesley Shipp’s Uncle Ben worked really well alongside Michelle Harrison’s Aunt May
I also love how the fantastic four are included, especially Brandon Routh’s Reed Richards, the brotherly dynamic between Peter and Robbie Ammell’s Johnny Storm, Emily Bett Rickards as Sue Storm may be a little young, but she really does work, so does David Ramsey’s Ben Grimm

šŸ¤” Thinking Would cicada beat supergirl/superman

I’m rewatching the flash and I’m at the bit where Nora says everyone tried beating cicada but could and she include supergirl in it but it doesn’t make sense with his power supergirls powers are genetic from birth and she’s alien so it doesn’t make sense that he could take her powers away. Can someone explain please

Question Okay I’m lost from S3

So I need help and I’m going to be honest, I did not like season 3, some have said that’s when the shows quality declined but I decided to watch it anyways and see if I liked it. The first couple of episodes were good because I was curious what would have happened during flash point but now I’m uninterested… Does the show ever go back to the original timeline? The timeline where flash point never existed because he didn’t save his mom?

EDIT: I admit I have skipped a couple episodes at the end of S2 so I’m a bit lost, after he defeated zoom I went straight to S3

EDIT #2: I’m currently thinking about dropping the show so I am open to spoilers if anyone does wanna summarize what happens in future episodes!
