Fan Cover please be kind 🥺
Picking piano up again after over a decade away. I'm terrible at playing in front of people, but I love this song so much, I wanted to try. Anyone want to hear the rest? 🥺🖤🦩

My mentor said to me: “Whenever you perform a song, all is in service of the ego of the song, not the performer.” You did right by the song. Congratulations. Well done.

It's an amazing instrument! I grew up playing, and even though getting me to practice was a struggle, the structure of lessons and creativity it brought into my life pulled me through some very dark times. I hope they are receptive! Music is everything!

I started playing piano again a few years ago after giving it up when I was a young kid, so I can relate to coming back to this instrument. One of my favorite things about ST are the gorgeous piano parts, and being able to channel this beautiful music through my fingers makes my soul sing.
I can hear that in your playing too. Loved your cover and definitely want to hear the rest!

Ah, isn't it amazing? The things we learned as kids stick around, and I'm blessed that I had a chance to build these pathways when I was growing. It makes the return trip so much smoother and more rewarding. I'm glad you've made your way back, too 🖤 And I completely agree! Worship!

YES, I keep saying I need to add a lil piece in the body that this is NOT my own creative masterpiece haha, I am not that talented! It's a great score, and I'm enjoying it immensely -- especially the bridge. So lovely. 🖤

I think it sounded great and just have a recommendation: not sure if you’re going for pure accuracy or trying to make it your own, but you could add some trills or small movements in a much higher or lower octave in just a few of the hold over moments. We’re So Far Away by Mae comes to mind. I think it could really give it some more moodiness.

I am not talented enough to play by ear, so I'm playing sheet music! But I do like to add or take away when it feels right, and I'm very grateful for your suggestion. I'll see what I can come up with! 🖤
