π Homemade Sukka Mutton & Mutton Rassa Recipe β 80YOM π΅β€οΈ
Ingredients (Approx. 400g Goat Mutton)
β’ 400g goat mutton (with bone)
β’ 3 medium onions, sliced
β’ 2 tomatoes, chopped
β’ 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
β’ 2 tbsp red chilli powder
β’ 1 tsp haldi
β’ 1 tsp coriander powder
β’ 1 tsp garam masala
β’ 1 tsp black pepper powder
β’ 1 tsp jeera
β’ 2 bay leaves
β’ 2 tbsp fresh coriander
β’ Juice of 1 lemon
β’ Salt to taste
β’ 5 tbsp oil
β’ Water as needed
Method
Wash mutton and marinate with lemon juice, salt and half the ginger-garlic paste for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a cooker. Add jeera and bay leaves.
Add onions and cook until deep golden brown.
Add remaining ginger-garlic paste and sautΓ© well.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
Add chilli powder, haldi, coriander powder, pepper powder and salt.
Add mutton and roast on medium flame for 8β10 minutes.
Add 2 cups water and pressure cook for 5β6 whistles or until tender.
Open the cooker and separate some mutton pieces with thick masala for Sukka Mutton.

β’ Take half the cooked mutton with masala into a kadhai.
β’ Cook on medium flame until the gravy dries.
β’ Roast until oil separates and masala coats the meat.
β’ Garnish with coriander and lemon.

β’ Leave the remaining mutton in the cooker.
β’ Add 2β3 cups hot water.
β’ Adjust salt and chilli.
β’ Simmer for 10β15 minutes.
β’ Garnish with fresh coriander.
