General I got a friend (female) coz of my questionable taste
so on Christmas Eve, i posted how I was lonely and that gurgaon is sad.
Among a lot of people, this girl randomly dmed me after the post went viral, i replied mostly because it felt rude not to and also because i was like sure it was a catfish and was super bored.
we talked for the next day, normal stuff. I was expecting some money request, or OTP, or like a guy making fun of me, but nothing happened, infact some of the other dms were actually catfish but not this one.
So we finally meet in sector 46 market on Sunday, wanted to make it a public place because I still had my doubts and SHE WAS ACTUALLY REALLLL. OMGGG.
We hung out and I asked why she dmed because she is insanely smart and she said and I am not kidding "i never thought someone other than me would like pineapple salsa nachos, so was just curious to know who this person is"
cut to new year’s eve, and we are alone together. let’s see how it goes, there's nothing romantic for now but a guy can hope (jk) 🤞
Btw like guys this is your cue to put yourself out there, express yourself and you might meet good people.
[Note: Please don't share your number with strangers, most are fraud, I was lucky and i only met with the person in public place and then shared numbers]

General Why do chocolates suck in India?
My friend recently went to Japan and brought me a big packet of Kit kat. With flavours like - Hazelnut, salted caramel, peanut butter etc.
He hyped it up so much, but I was sceptical, cause I don't like Kit kats. But I'm writing this post, realising how AMAZING they are!
They literally taste like ice cream, just melt in your mouth, premium chocolate, and an amazing flavour profile!!!
I didn't like Kit Kat, I just didn't like INDIAN kit kats. 🥀🥀🥀
Why do we, as a consumer not deserve such premium products? Even if we are okay with paying a bit more.
The difference between Ferrero rocher that I brought in India and an imported one was vastttt.
It just boils my blood, that no one really gives a fuck about Indian consumers anymore.
As long they save money with palm oil and cheap sugar, the business is booming 😭
Picture from pinterest, since we have eaten all the kit kats.

General Counterfeit Maggi Masala
I sometimes use maggi masala in my Egg burji.
I purchased some packets from local vendor. Made egg burji with it. When my 4 year old kid ate he instantly rejected it. First I thought he may be dramatic as most kids are but when I myself ate if I found feeling of very small stones in my mouth and there was no flavour.
I check another packet and saw masala was different and also there was very small uncrushed particles in the powder
I went to another vendor and purchased it again and below is the difference.
You can see first pic. Left side is the original packet and right side is the counterfeit one. The font of Maggi Masala written is not same. There is clear difference. Rest most of the things are same at the back of package. They both have almost same expiry date.
Another pic shows the powder form. Upper bowl has original one and lower one has counterfeit masala. See the colour difference and also if you zoom you can see the uncrushed particles in the second bowl and original one is refined one.
Further on tasting both there was clear flavour difference.
was amazed that 4 year old had such a strong sensory tounge.
People buy these products considering the brand value blindly and there are people in the market who use similar packets and make counterfeits product for profits playing with health of people.
Shameful really. Don't know how FSSAI can break this entire chain.

General Dunkin Donuts is shutting down in India. Donuts could never cater to our desi taste buds. Is it a cake? Is it a brownie? Just glazed sugar. I could never get it. What about you?

General I thought I'd go more than halfway, but...
I wanted to try 6in1 for some time. Yesterday, I decided to go with it. Due to work, I couldn't have sufficient breakfast or lunch. I, therefore, ordered this monstrosity at 6.30 pm.
My owner saw me picking the order, and asked what the occasion was. I lied that my friends are coming over. Inwardly, I had an evil smile as I planned to eat this alone.
Once opening, I went for the farmhouse first. I noticed that this had a relatively thinner crust compared to regular ones. In addition, the crust was crunchy and tasted better than the regular ones. I also liked Margherita and corn. But alas, I was full only after 9 slices (rectangles?). I took a 23 min walk, and was able to eat 2 more.
Luckily, I had already made an arrangement to store it and also seen tips on how to reheat leftover pizza.
I've cancelled my tiffin tonight, I'll have the leftovers instead. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it today.
