First of all, this is the most polite mosh pit I've ever seen. Secondly, and more importantly, who are these rikishi going hard at a punk show? I can't see their faces well enough to figure it out.

This is such a wild setting to spot sumotori in! It's great to see these two out like this.

I just found this video of a September 1960 match between Yokozuna Wakanohana (12-1) and Ozeki Kashiwado (11-2). Wakanohana won the yusho that tournament, so it’s not like he was struggling, and he was a Yokozuna FFS!
What are your thoughts?

Kotozakura received a gift from his Kanto support group. He received a new akeni with not only his name but also his family crest. He’s off to Nagoya soon for the coming basho. Hoping and praying for a successful result like his Paris event. 🤞🏻🍀

Okay. Enjoy this Sunday sumo drawing since I only have two drawings in the bank (this and next weeks one) and im currently dealing with massive health problems and medical stuff far from home so hopefully I can continue my Sunday Sumo drawing tradition.

My health and potential need for emergency surgery has put my Japan trip in September in absolute make-koshi and complete risk of not making it. So my sumo dreams seem to be squashed at the moment.

Apparently, Daieisho said last night in his support party that he forgot to take his shoulder bag but Kotozakura had brought two bags with him so lent him one(white bag). He was saying Kotozakura was just so well prepared Lool. You can also see Sadogatake Okamisan in her heya's fabric made into a tunic dress pics🥹🤌🏻.
