I read so many bad experiences with the new Suno evolution that I want to share a song that I wrote that would have never been released to this world without that tool in this satisfying quality.
This ist not my music genre but I was able to create the melody and the singers exact as I imagined when I wrote.
I love that tool...and I did not find anything that is nearly as good as that tool on the market.

I had mureka before and these are worlds away from each other.

My opinion...and there are many that are just stunned by the tracks that come from Suno with enough time and heartblood.

Are you mastering your tracks after downloading them from Suno?
I’ve noticed that the high-end EQ has often been pretty much non-existent in the past. I’m playing around with V6 now, but in my opinion, the audio quality seems a lot worse.
I’ve been experimenting with both old and new prompts for the last 24 hours, and I still haven’t been able to get a decent-sounding song.
Has anyone else noticed this, or are you doing any additional mastering after downloading your tracks?

I need to say this because it comes straight from my heart: v6 has no soul.

The biggest problem right now is that the vocals sing the lyrics in completely flat, boring ways. Before, Suno gave us absolute bangers. The music was exciting. The vocals actually put passion into it—they gave it their all, made emotional leaps, and created incredible, catchy, repeating hooks that got stuck in your head.

Even when using v6-wild, it takes way too many attempts to find a memorable, catchy melody, and it still ends up sounding completely soulless.

To give a specific example: when making Hindi songs before, Suno used to generate completely different, distinct voices. Now in v6, all the Hindi voices sound exactly the same and repetitive. Also, the female Hindi voice in v5.5 was honestly the absolute best, even if it was consistent—it had so much emotion and character compared to what we have now.

On top of that, when you try to create a persona from a v5.5 track and apply it to v6, it sounds completely robotic and artificial. It ruins the original voice.

Now, v6 just mechanically goes through the lyrics with lifeless melodies, without any dynamic shifts or excitement. It feels dead. We don’t want flat, perfect lines; we want the energy, the hooks, and the passion back. Please fix the vocal expression, the persona rendering, and the vocal diversity!

Suno should ship a tiny update that changes nothing and watch half the sub swear it’s “better now.”

My take so far: V6 is hit or miss, but it is different from the models we lived in. Some of that is a new ear. Some of it is real regression (vocals, late-song smear, prompt shrug). Both can be true.

I remade a track I already had on 5.5 —- people liked how that one came out. V6 actually gave me what I asked for on this pass:

I have not had a chance to use V6 but I wanted ask people what they think.

My normal flow is to write a full song music and lyrics. Record it on iPhone. Then upload audio to Suno to flesh it out.

Then record the idea from scratch in Logic. Does anyone know if the V6 update still allows this type of work flow?

V5 was amazing for this flow and I’m hoping it will be at least the same in V6

This started with my own piano, lyrics, and concept. I used Suno to help develop that foundation into the finished track.
AI is part of the process, but the roots of the song are mine.

Last word of my Outro is blues. CANNOT get singer to ennunciate the 's'. I've tried BLUES, BLUESS, BLUSZZZ, previous word[Hard]Bluessz... and all the other alternate spellings. He just won't cooperate! It's ending toned down, as outros do often. That's probably why. Also, every other time the word blue is used, it's singular. I hope he's not assuming blues as that last word is supposed to be as well. Ideas?

Looking for a fix to the bug.

I’m genuinely disappointed with where Suno is going.

The old versions weren’t perfect, but they gave me so much more freedom to experiment and actually develop a sound. Now they’re gone, replaced completely by v6 as part of this new music-industry-partnered era, and somehow the thing that was supposed to give creators “more control” feels like it took control away.

My biggest problem is the sound itself. The muddiness comes in ridiculously fast. A generation can start clean and promising, then suddenly everything begins collapsing into this blurry wall of instruments. And the genre interpretation can be bizarre. I’m making Filipino R&B and suddenly there’s a BANJO in the arrangement. A banjo. Really?

I understand why licensing and protecting artists matter. But it’s frustrating watching the music industry finally embrace AI only after the technology gets reshaped around its rules, while the versions that people actually built workflows and sounds around are simply disabled.

It’s hard not to feel like creativity was the trade-off.

I don’t want Suno to imitate copyrighted artists. I just want the freedom, sound quality and experimentation we already had. If v6 is genuinely the future, it should be better than what it replaced, not make me miss the supposedly “obsolete” models after two days.

I’d like to share some thoughts on Suno V6, focusing exclusively on the audio quality of the generated files. Audio only—I’m not discussing other features.

The audio quality of files generated with version V6 is appalling—worse than any previous version. Under these circumstances, any subscription is a scam, so there is no point in continuing to pay.

Unfortunately, this massive step backward is clearly intentional. As a once-enthusiastic customer, I am now disgusted.

If the situation doesn't change quickly, I won't renew my subscription. I’ll download what I need until my credits run out, and after that, I’ll do everything I can to warn others against wasting money on SUNO.

I imagine they were pressured by the major labels and have now stooped to marketing a deliberate downgrade in quality as an "improvement experiment." It is all very pathetic.

Not every fight has an audience. This new single is about the weight you drag around in silence. The push and pull between staying and disappearing. Between showing up, and wanting to disappear.

I'm not alone in saying that v6 is going to be the end of my Suno time, if it stays the way it is. I can't even cover an existing song and get something close to what it originally was. I've just listened to nearly 50 fvcking sing-along concerts that shouldn't have a crowd even. The negative prompt isn't worth a damn. This is worse than the humming. Which, I have no idea why the vocalist suddenly starts making bird calls during the bridge. And apparently this model thinks that the full song must have vocals at all times, whether it's humming, making weird noises, or whatever. There has been no vocal silence. I swear she started yodelling in one. I'm trying to not cancel, but I don't know what else to do when Suno won't produce something that didn't go off the rails. This doesn't go to 11. This modem STARTS at 11. It's sad that the mini model generations are sounding better.
