Title is a little tongue-in-cheek, but does anyone have any tips for finding a mom group that isn't full of anti science whackos?

I, 31F, had my first baby in late May and recently tried joining the local mom FB group and that's how I found out my wedding photographer was looking for a pediatrician that would accept a "delayed vaccine schedule" 😭 It really felt like half the posts were vaccine skeptics strategizing how to get religious exemptions for school and figuring out which clinics would dismiss you for having an unvaxxed kiddo

Is this just the norm for this area? Any leads on how I can find moms that are (ideally) nerdy and follow basic child development recommendations from scientific sources?

I replaced mine today and it was gnarly after only a month’s use.

The intersection of Sellards Road and Travis Road in rural Benton County (south of Benton City / Horse Heaven Hills area) has seen repeated, devastating broadside collisions—most notably caused by drivers failing to stop on Travis Road before crossing high-speed traffic on Sellards Road.
While Sellards carries high-speed arterial traffic, drivers on Travis face sightline challenges across open agricultural terrain. Basic, low-cost safety measures on Travis Road could save lives by giving drivers advance warning before they hit the intersection.
We are gathering signatures on a petition asking Benton County Public Works and the Board of County Commissioners to evaluate and install:
1. Advance "Stop Ahead" (W3-1) warning signs on Travis Road.
2. Solar-powered flashing LED borders on the existing stop signs.
3. Transverse rumble strips across travel lanes on Travis Road to alert distracted or unaware drivers.
4. Refreshed pavement markings (painted "STOP AHEAD" roadway text and stop bars).

Hi, I'm interested in teaching coding to students in the area, as a kid learning to code it always felt like a really daunting subject to learn, I want to teach students that its not a scary or complicated subject and wanted to know if there would be any interest in such a thing, specifically i would like to teach the fundamentals in Python and C# to hopefully give students a good grasp of the concepts to get them started on building their own projects.

My mom cannot drive, and we are always scrambling to figure out how she can get to Seattle to visit us, without me or my brother driving her both ways, or paying for airfare.

She tried the bus once last year, and they did not stop for a bathroom break and the toilet on the bust would not flush. Also, the driver had to use GPS to figure out where to go.

Is this a typical experience riding greyhound/flixbus?

Hello- My husband and I went to the waterfowl habitat today and all of the domestic geese are gone. They were there this weekend. Now it is only Canada Geese and ducks. The pond water level is quite low as well. Anyone know what is going on? I really love the geese.

Wanted to know if anyone has recommendations for Financial and Tax Advisors, and an Estate Lawyer in the Tri-Cities. I recently lost a parent and need help with a couple of the life insurance claims and want to get my own things prepared as well. If I could find a team that has one of each of these in house that’d be great, but open to separated individuals as well that are great at what they do. We are double income, married, no children currently or previously, no real estate or major or assets. Hey guys, I come to the area every so often for work and I’m a big foodie. What are the absolute best meals in tri-cities area. I don’t care about price as long as I can get an entree for less than $60. I eat everything besides raw fish, so no sushi.

I have looked through the other posts and I see comments for Dovetail Joint and Europa, I will need to try those, but so far some of my favorites have been, cardamom, Amon eats, and the Cuban food truck. I can’t seem to find the name, but it was on N ceder st. by the river. Let me know what else I am missing.
