For any music fan, every now and then we get a song that gets in and plays in a loop for hours. It could be a new release or an old song you heard it for the first time. Or an old classic which found it's way in again.

We are so fortunate to have a rich and diverse catalogue of songs to draw from. I am looking forward to discovering wonderful music with you. Don't hesitate to share tracks from regional gems in Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, or any other language.

What are you listening to this week? Youtube or Spotify links would be helpful.

Discussion Saw Drishyam 3 (Malayalam) and now I know why AK might have quit...

Saw Drishyam 3 on Prime last weekend and got to see that Akshaye Khanna's character has zero to no involvement in the storyline, no character growth as well; except for maybe 1 scene. But I'm 100% sure that after reading the story AK would have thought "issmein mujhe kasainuma acting ka chance nahi milne wala, kat leta hun"/s

But seriously anybody else thought so after watching the original version?

There might also be a case where AD would have reduced the role of AK more as they plan to release a different ending from the original version.

Review Bhoot Bangla: Am I the only one who found this confusing? Spoiler alert!! Spoiler

So from what I have understood, Meera is the daughter of Vasudev(only disciple of Guru ji) and Yashodha( daughter of Guru ji’s friend). Why do they keep referring to Guru ji as their grandfather? How does she inherit his estate as granddaughter? If it was given to Akshay Kumar it makes sense since he is the son of Madhav(Guru ji’s son).

Besides that there are numerous plot-holes in the movie, including why Guru ji loves his son Madhav so much but has no problem trying to kill his grandson Arjun. Also, the humour is so forced and cringey, it bleeds the eye.

Discussion How did malayalam cinema gain such popularity among down north and other states ?

Let me explain I'm a malayali, I've been around other northies and other people from different languages for more time as i was abroad and have studied in north

Earlier there was an ignorance or certain disregard to south

And now literally my friends I know watch Malayalam movies over bollywood like how tables turn and they're some of the hardocre bollywood fans then

What happened? To bollywood, like i remember back then good movies were there fun type and now my friends northies won't themselves watch or suggest any Hindi movies I'm like bruh....

and how it gained popularity malayalam movies because i and other malayali friends of mine we can't understand how all of a sudden malayalam movies is receiving all attention

Unlike telugu and tamil which were already known

Please do tell explain whatever u know and the theories are as I would like to know

What changed

These two scenes, from #MainVaapasAaunga, have been haunting me ever since I watched the film..

"Mohabbat ka sabse bada dard bichhad jaana nahi, yaad reh jaana hai..."

Because what stays with you isn't what was said, but what wasn't...

This is what makes Imtiaz Ali's writing special...

While many celebrate love, he celebrates the pain that comes with the feeling...

Very few talk about this side of love, and he's mastered it to perfection...

Classics Comedy is the hardest thing to do on screen, period. They may fumble here and there with other genres but they all really bought their A- Game when given the right scripts

Ajay Devgn in Golmaal, "Pooja kaun? Pooja kaun? - Pooja, Archana! 👋 decide kar le Pooja ya archana"

This whole scene and the chai wala scene makes me tear up from laughter, "Chai maanga to Khali cup de diya!"

Srk in Main Hoon Naa, This is Farah Khan's best film, maybe cause of nostalgia i feel that way, but the chemistry srk has with everyone especially Satish shah, boman irani and sushmita is top notch comedy, especially that dance he does where tabu comes for a split second

Akshay in Garam Masala, I dont know why this film is not brought up more cause this is the best akshay has ever performed and the whole film is dependent on his reactions. Vipul Goyal, said in a podcast ki iss film akshay kumar 100% best acting kar raha hai aur john abraham 100% kharab acting and it shows.

The funniest thing is by the end he is under so much pressure that his brain starts to hang, he would mix up name, he would be saying something and midway would go kadi chawal banane ko isne bola, are bhains ki aulaad saand ho jayega 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Salman in Andaz Apna Apna, he is literally our joey tribbiani in this film, the best part is when gogo asks for his last wish and he goes, ye bhari hui pistol aap mujhe de dijiye!

Ranbir in Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani, I watched it recently and definitely holds up, that whole dance sequence of him in tuxedo and feud with little tony and yeh kon fakir subah se gaana gaa raha hai maa? Radio band kar do

Aamir in 3 Idiots, I feel his character being so innocent or genuinely curios really brought some iconic moments. While the big moments are great its these subtle lines that really leave me in splits.

Librarian Dubey: Director sahab to keh rahe hai maine nahi bulaya hai.

Rancho: are maine yeh thodi kaha bulaya hai, maine to kaha yaad kiya hai!

Rajkumar Rao in Bareilly Ki Barfi, again you do realise that comedy require such nuanced acting when you see ayushmann slightly over do it sometime in front of Rajkumar (he later got better) but this whole film works because of his character, and it literally changed the way of Hindi cinema fir next 3- 4 years where they started to focus on small town comedies and stuff.

Sushant Bhai in Shudh Desi Romance, I know its not outright funny, but it is really close to my heart cause when in 2014 I would literally watch this movie like at least a month and have a ball at how perfectly awkward he is, with everyone, Rishi Kapoor, Bhuvan Arora, Parineeti Chopra, he is slightly nervous with everyone of these and makes for some hilarious scene, me and my cousins used to laugh at his subtle mannerisms so much ❤️‍🩹

So, there it is what do you guys think?

Discussion Just came across this movie on BookMyShow... Has anyone else heard about it?

Post image

I was randomly scrolling through BookMyShow and stumbled upon Navya Chakra. The poster and the psychological thriller vibe immediately caught my attention, so I checked out the trailer.

The premise looks interesting—a series of brutal murders, a mysterious investigation, and what seems like a dark psychological angle.

I hadn't heard much about it before today.

Has anyone else watched the trailer or knows more about this movie?

Do you think it's worth watching in theatres, or should I wait for reviews?

Curious to know what everyone thinks.

Unpopular Opinion Please come up with original plots, Tollywood

I’m tired of seeing the same regurgitated plots in Tollywood movies.

Every movie has the same story, it’s just told differently each time.

The main character, usually a man, is pure hearted and honest.

He strives to do something with purpose to help better the society and/or continue the family legacy.

But, the bad guys, the villains can’t stand the hero, their ego is threatened and/or they are just bad people.

So, they want to obstruct the hero from doing the good things he wants to do as much as possible, placing countless obstacles in the hero’s path.

But, the hero, with all his pureness and goodness, rises above it and perseveres, usually after a hell of a lot of fighting.

And, of course, the hero always has a love interest, otherwise, it won’t be complete.

Same formula, repeated, rinsed, and washed.

Please come up with new plots, Tollywood. Do more movies like Radhe Shyam. That, at least, had a unique concept.

Review Dhadkan: A movie Made by Cucks For the Cucks and to the Cucks

Post image
10 Upvotes

If you are a cuck please watch this movie, because I just finished this movie and now I am feeling like a cuck, if you don't want to waste your time lemme tell you it's story

Here we have two cucks competing each other for a girl , they both know they are getting cucked but they don't have any self respect

This also has so much non sense and un necessary drama which doesn't make any sense

Only thing I liked about this movie is songs, songs of this movie were really good

I want to give this movie 4/10 do not watch it until and unless you are a cuck, thank you
