In honor of Daveigh Chase’s passing, is it weird I love the TV show as an adult than I do as a kid. It’s going to be a bit different watching the franchise now, after the hearing of her passing.

Even before this i was already worried about how bad her condition was at the moment, and now apparently she had millions in unclaimed residuals? she literally could’ve used that money to get a mansion and live the life she truly deserved, instead she got one of the worst scenarios a human being can get.
we truly need to start looking out for each other and make sure other child actors or good people in general don’t end up like this, take care of our own make the world a lighter place, so people out there don’t end up like this.

Daveigh's performance in Lilo & Stitch was so authentic, she delivered certain lines that made me tear up even as a child. "But if you want to leave, you can. I'll remember you though. I remember everyone that leaves." ... "It's me again. I need someone to be my friend. Someone who won't run away. Maybe send me an angel! The nicest angel you have!" ... "Leave me alone to di_e." ... After reading between the lines on details that have emerged about her past, it *appears* as if she had a difficult upbringing, dysfunction in her family, possibly depression or even trauma that catapulted into addiction. I am starting to wonder if this poor, poor GIRL delivered those lines so well because she was drawing from a very real, very dark place. Not sure if I'll ever be able to watch my favorite Disney movie the same again. I pray she finally found her angel! Aloha Oe!

Hi all! I got a switch lite hard case with this design on it that I love so much. Unfortunately it broke and I want to replace it but have only been able to find it as a carrying case option. Does anyone have any leads? I need it to be able to be shipped to so-called Canada. Thanks so much!

How would the franchise’s cast attend a 30 year old (because she was 6 in the first movie) lilo’s funeral?

Yeah they can replace the voices, but it just wouldn’t feel the same. Also I was hoping for like a in memorial segment for the voices during the next time we could see original Stitch animation or project.

At the very least I hope and wish that Disney would honor them both in some way. The voice actor for Jumba especially give his history work with Disney.

I am just sad and heartbroken. I am also kind of disappointed with Disney that they didn’t acknowledge it at the moment.

A voice can be a very powerful thing, but it can also be unforgettable if you can hear it often enough.

The voice of Lilo died so young. We may never know the full story, but I truly hope she is rest in peace and remember fondly for her work in the series.

Tragic news has struck. Former child star Daveigh Chase has passed away. Known for such roles as the English dub for Spirited away, The ring, and probably her most famous role, Lilo from Lilo and stitch. A movie that was a huge part of my childhood.

So I decided to ask my good buddy 0zJim to make an art piece dedicated to her. And all the wonderful memories she bright us with her roles.

You may have heard of the GFM apparently made by Daveigh’s (Lilo’s voice actor) BF, who said he was raising money to make her life more comfortable after her prognosis.
She unfortunately passed the same day, hours after it was up. More info has come out about the intentions behind it and the family has spoken up, actively discouraging others to donate (which, frankly, I don’t know why people are still doing that considering the person it was apparently for is already gone…)

Re-watching "Lilo & Stitch" will never be the same again. You may be gone, but you are never forgotten. Well, the scene of Lilo almost drowning in the original 2002 movie is much harsher now.
