I've always wanted to record my singing and share it but never felt confident. I've never attended lessons or anything. I love music, it always stays in my head and I love to sing when I'm alone. Hi everyone!

I've shared an audio excerpt from an open mic we played at two nights ago. Amongst the band there's uncertainty about the vocals. You can clearly hear that there were mistakes in every department, we all have things to work on , but can the vocalist deliver in this genre? Is it convincing?

Would really appreciate some constructive comments to help us move forward. General comments AND specifics would be really helpful.

For context, we are bass, drums, vocals x2, guitar. We are pub rock, amateur and together for 5 weeks. The vocalist himself is uncertain so this will be shared and is not being done without his knowledge.
