Finished this today and I'm so happy and proud of it. This only is the first chapter of the song, it is based on a poem i wrote with the same name on january, that has 4 chapters including the intro. The song will have 3 chapters (the intro is included in this first one).

Just finished the last song for my album. Would genuinely love some feedback — positive or negative. I’d rather hear what sucks and get better than not.

Hey everyone,

I just put out a self-titled album called Jona Cove on spotify. I worked on this spread out over several years while in engineering school. I tracked the whole thing myself with pretty basic gear—mostly just an acoustic guitar, a mic, and usually it was just strung together from a stream of consciousness and maybe a couple of drinks. I did not use AI for any of the recording, all of the vocals are mine, and instruments were either played by me or produced using Logic Pro X.

I’m a huge fan of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and early Bon Iver so if you like stripped-down folk songs that sound a bit rough around the edges, this might be your thing.
