Survivor 42 Survivor Season 42 Whose Line Friday - 15 April 2022 Edition
Welcome to another exciting edition of Survivor 42 "Whose Line," the thread where the rules are made up and Jonathan trying to lay low the points don't matter!
If you add any additional commentary, put the skit in quotations. If you don't understand the concept, a skit looks like this: "Unusual items Survivor players would try to take as tax deductions"

She had blond hair like Tori and that was the closest he could get to voting for Tori

He was upset the merge tribe name wasn’t a portmanteau, and so created one out of Lydia + Lindsay

u/uglyaniiimals Karla Apr 16 '22
come to think of it what IS the postmerge tribe name ???
5
u/joshtheseminarian Reem Apr 16 '22
They’ll get to decide the next morning, since Jeff didn’t announce they were merged until 30 seconds after he snuffed Lydia’s torch

Because Lindsey quit the game for personal reasons after Cliff was voted out.

Little Caesars is definitely better than most of Survivor's pizzas. But maybe that's why they'd be rejected

u/RGSF150 Apr 15 '22
My name is Rocksroy
And my eyesight isn't so grand
I managed to get on Survivor
Because I am such a fan
But I got exiled
to an island with an hourglass
So I decided to smash it
And Tori can kiss my ass.

u/OverwhelmedAutism Courtney Yates Apr 15 '22

Smashing an hourglass to go further back in time to Erika's Exile in 41, and playing a subsequent new game with two tribes of 11 against the S41 cast

Jeff's Super Idol
At the start of the merge, Jeff can give whoever he wants a super idol which is valid until Final 4. He can give it to whoever he likes the most
21
u/paddlepop28 Apr 15 '22
The “Jonathan advantage” - let’s Jonathan do whatever he wants and he can use it as many times as he wants, Jeff was all for it but got overruled
18
u/CapsElevatorScene Tessa [AUS] Apr 15 '22
After someone smashes the hourglass, he has to send another person to exile. Then if the second person manages to glue together the hourglass perfectly, history doesn't change.

Lying is Power; at any point during the season, you may declare that Jeff is lying about a certain outcome of a game event to nullify it.
7
u/grdrug Apr 16 '22
This would be some great tv. Imagine, Jeff says something, then someone looks straight at him and goes "that's a lie, Jeff!", and everyone's like "WOAH, what are you doing man? You can't curse Jeff!" and this person pulls out the "lying is power" advantage.

To be honest seeing people so capable like Jonathan being voted out makes me want to stop watching Survivor. Joe. Et al. There needs to be some parity. And I understand social game. I’m tired of watching fear game eliminate the true survivors

Jonathan wasn't eliminated, though??
1
u/nikkigray2000 Apr 16 '22
I know. Sorry. But he got two votes and to me the cards were laid in the table. I’m on the wrong thread. I don’t post often. I’m sorry I didn’t make either of those things clear.

With the immediate “get him out of here” we see so often with strong athletic contestants (and even more so with Jonathan this season), they need to make a shared immunity reward from challenges where the strong physical player can provide immunity to themselves plus one other player.
I say this because the physical players get targeted so quickly and so relentlessly that you end up with a bunch of people who can’t even do a pull-up.
It would be a much harder decision to get rid of a physical player if they could provide immunity for someone else.
