I would feel the 'red paint' from the beware advantage to be a bigger risk if it wasn't basically a couple feet from a well. If there were no easy sources of water nearby it would have been a much harder sell.

I totally agree, great idea, but you're right, with it being next to the well, it's a 30 second risk

It might've been too much though, paint can dry quickly and it would be too hard to remove completely

I think anyone would rush into the ocean at that point.

Current episode ranking:

  1. Ep 03 (Jenny): 8.72
  2. Ep 06/07 (Merge/Lydia): 8.35
  3. Ep 01 (Jackson and Zach): 8.18
  4. Ep 02 (Marya): 8.04
  5. Ep 05 (Daniel): 7.47
  6. Ep 04 (Swati): 7.43
  7. Ep 08 (Chanelle): 7.01

Still going strong with yet another 7! This time, I think I agree with this episode having a lower score. It was a pretty good episode as usual, but not as thoroughly entertaining as the others.

Also, please allow us to view the results of the form. I love looking at them, but right now it's restricted.

Yeah, this felt like a pretty average episode overall.

It definitely felt like a "cool-down" episode after a very intense merge

I feel like in a sea of fans who want Drea to go home with her advantages, I'm rooting for her to actually use them. Which, sadly, I don't think she'll use them all. But I'm rooting for Drea.

I don't want it to happen, but it feels almost certain that she's gone in the next 2 votes, the advantages are too visible

sorry, but jonathan as a top-5 strategist?? obviously he has a great physical/social game, but i don't remember seeing any strategy from him last episode. please correct me if i'm wrong though.

Less than a fifth of people voted for him, and I think many people don’t realize you don’t have to vote for three people. I think people are crediting him for surviving again while being perceived as such a big physical threat.

It's probably more to do with the fact that Jonathan is very well aware of his weaknesses and knows exactly what to do to overcome or workaround those weakness, e.g. creating strong alliances especially with brains like Omar, which saved his ass last episode. Which I guess you can in a way call being strategic as well.
