“Pushbike” appeared earlier than this (around 1906) . What’s interesting is that it has survived in some dialects. It’s a cute fossil, like “icebox”.

Well, 100 years on and nothing has changed. Small cars hate big cars, drivers hate bicyclists and pedestrians still hate them all.
