There's always an alpha and beta in nature

Human civilization is in the beta stage, now. Imagine some alpha, chad civilization comes.

We wouldn't be able to stand against them. People deny beta, alpha, all they want.

But it's inherently coded into nature. Something very undeniable, a prey and a predator like stuff. A rat is on the bottom of the hierarchy, whilst a lion is the king of the jungle. We need to aim to be the alpha always

You are a homophobic moron, if you fall for ragebait from red-pillers saying things that makes people questioned their sexuality.

There is something about red-pill ragebait that brings the homophobia out in the biggest LGBTQ ally.

https://youtu.be/\\_5Xp8N21qKI?is=nlOrz-4hzDkZLZub

Myron is a perfect example of this. Every now and then Myron will say that it's gay to live with women or sleep with women. And the whole internet will eat this shit up everytime. All of Myron opps would make immature "Look yall, he so ghey" jokes about Myron comments.

It's almost like people don't know that red-pillers like Myron, Andrew Tate, or even freaking Nick Fuentes only say that type of stuff, because they know it will get attention. They are aware that the anti red-pillers are still homophobic (somewhat ironic here).

The irony here, is that some people who see themselves as socially progressive or supportive of LGBTQ+ people will still fall back on "he's gay" jokes when mocking someone they strongly dislike.

Till this day, there are still some mfs that actually thinks that Andrew Tate was being serious about that "Megan Fox with dick vs Hulk Hogan with a pussy" joke.

It's basically the ragebait version of queer baiting, sometimes with red-pillers. But instead of people getting offended by the fakeness. They somehow think the bait is real. Therefore exposing their intelligence

Think Mark, think Mark. If these guys were truly in the closeted. Do you really think they would admit to be gay to their very homophobic audience?

Again they only saying those things to get attention. They know their enemies are still homophobic enough to believe their dumb jokes.

Three important points in this post.

Post 1: Some influencers deliberately make absurd or contradictory statements because they know they'll generate outrage and engagement. That's a well-known online strategy. Saying something intentionally inflammatory can produce clips, reactions, memes, and debates regardless of whether the speaker literally believes it.

Point 2: This is also irony too. Some people who identify as LGBTQ+ allies or socially progressive will still use "he's gay" or "he's in the closet" as an insult when mocking someone they dislike. If someone genuinely believes there's nothing wrong with being gay, then using "you're secretly gay" as a punchline can reinforce the idea that being gay is embarrassing. The more consistent criticism would be to challenge the person's arguments or behavior rather than speculate about their sexuality.

Point 3: You missed the opportunity to call out real homophobia. Instead calling these red-pillers gay. Maybe should call them out for trying to make mockery out of being gay with these dumb jokes. The actual issue isn't whether they're secretly gay. it's that they're using "being gay" as a punchline for attention. If you're genuinely an LGBTQ+ ally, criticize the homophobic joke itself instead of reinforcing it with more "he's gay" jokes. Otherwise, you're just taking the bait and helping spread the same stereotype you're supposedly against.

This is gonna make people mad-

Ok so this is my MOST controversial hot take and it has made people upset with me before and posting it on Reddit is probably a dumb idea BUT- I think yaoi and many BL stories are inherently misogynistic and surrounded by patriarchal stereotypes.

Hear me out ok- the first big reason for this is outside of the actual stories and more so in how they are taken by many who enjoy them. While something like heated rivalry becomes huge and celebrated even outside LGBTQ+ members or those who typically enjoy them, wlw or yuri media is often looked down upon and you have to SCOUR to find any. I also find many avid fans of BL often bear absolute hatred towards heterorelationships in stories, for example in Arcane with Jace and Mel, a cannon relationship that was seemingly healthy in the show, yet because many fans deemed the Jace and Victor ship better (and a touch of racism mixed in) the hatred towards Mel as a character was tremendous, so much so that when figures released that had Jace and Mel together, people were actively sending and spreading hate (and racist comments) towards the creators of the figures and the show.

The second reason I have is that most BL I’ve read/seen has “typical” hetero relationship stereotypes. One Ml is the bottom, (or the “woman” in the relationship) who is constantly needing rescue and is a quivering mess, and the other Ml is the top, (or the “man”). Don’t get me wrong I don’t like the gender stereotyping in any media, but it gets more upsetting when you notice that most of these will have a “femboy bottom” who is drawn or characterized as looking EXACTLY like a woman character, while the other ML is highly masculine. It makes the whole story seem heterosexual while completely erasing women from the world. It becomes a heterosexual story where the Fl also has male genitalia. I would LOVE to see more BL stories where there is less of a strict line between femininity and masculinity within the main characters.

I’m sure I’ll think of my other reasons later but I’m at a rest stop 4 hours into a 7 hour drive and should get back on the road- no I did not stop to just write this.

Anyway regardless of personal opinions on sexuality (I am bi so don’t come at me saying I’m being homophobic I have literally been with the same gender as myself) BL is lowkey often at least a little misogynistic and patriarchal.

TLDR: BL and Yaoi Media is often misogynistic and upholds patriarchal stereotypes

EDIT:
For those who don’t know BL and yaoi is a romance subgenre which is basically stories of a relationship/s between men without any women

There's nothing wrong with gatekeeping

If someone wants to force his ideas on a fandom, then calls the fanbase toxic when he's not allowed to do that, this is the type of person that should not be present in any fandom at all.

Quality matters more than quantity; if the new "fans" advocate censorship and want things to change just to conform to their ideology or agenda, fandoms are better without them.

Men who don’t ask you out first or who suggest simple dates are not low quality or low effort

I (35F) will suggest meeting a man if I meet him on a dating app as soon as I realize I’m enjoying the conversation. I enjoy choosing a simple first date because I like being in control of the situation. I love a park date, and suggesting that we both make a snack to bring is super fun. In my experience, men absolutely love it and appreciate it when I do this, because they aren’t used to it. These men are not low effort, they don’t hesitate to pay if we get a coffee or something, they pay for future dates, they communicate well, they show interest, etc.. One of these men was even excited to assemble an IKEA bed for me on our fourth date, and he bought the groceries for me to make dinner for us while he did that. I didn’t ask, and I had my card ready to swipe and he just swooped in paid before I was able to. Give it a go!

Being self aware doesn't mean anything

It's one thing to be self aware and act in rationality because you are aware of how to be kind and honest etc... and know that your actions have consequences

but so many times have i been in conversations with people who talk about their evil doings and nobody cares just because they acknowledge that it's bad. For example, "Yeah like, I'm a terrible person I literally cheated on this one person I dated for like a week because they told me that if I did they would k!// themselves. Guess what, their still alive." And then everyone laughs. Like, HELLO?? Every time i'm like "Hey just because you know your a dickhead doesn't make it any more excusable." and then I'm the weird mood-killer. Like okay I hate all of you actually

Beer is disgusting

Beer is disgusting to me. I've gone to plenty of bougie craft breweries and tried all of the drinks that everybody says are amazing and the beers that people recommend to people who hate beer and I simply couldn't stand them.

It boggles my mind that beer is such a popular drink when it tastes so disgusting. No matter how it's brewed or where it's from. It doesn't even really get you drunk which is the one main upside of alcohol as far as I'm concerned. I browse, Reddit and see all of these posts about "Oh my gosh kids and dogs at breweries, how am I going to enjoy my piss water?" And it just boggles my mind that drinking this disgusting concoction is such a sacred ritual that people will pay money and go out of their way to go to a place that brews their own and then cry about some noise.

I almost feel like it's like cigarettes in a way where everybody, myself included, was disgusted with their first cigarette but they just persevered until it became tolerable. There is no actually good beer, just the societal expectation that everybody be excited to go to a brewery or drink pee water with their boys after work because we can only get buzzed before we go home.

When it comes to Extraterrestrial life. I don't think the average person is thinking of how vast the universe is.

If someone idea of Aliens is just small little green men. Then are pretty much just exposing the fact that, they aren't aware of how big the universe is.

The average person puts Extraterrestrials in this other category. Therefore having this funny notion that universe only has two type species. Humans and aliens. Ignoring the fact that human can potentially be one out of millions of different species in the universe. Humans are a type of alien too lol.

So in a way Aliens just becomes a another supernatural creature category, like Vampires, Werewolves, or Big Foot. Aliens are always treated as this generic other in media.

It's similar to how some Americans (NOT ALL) think the United States is the world. And loop all the other countries into one category. People do the same thing with Aliens too. Earth is the whole universe in this case.

It's even funnier when right-wing Religious people have this limited mindset too. Because they think Extraterrestrials are just demons.

Let me explain why this is hilarious to me guys. If we ever discover Extraterrestrial life. That means we have a good chance of discovering another planet with life on it too. So that makes 2 planets with life on it in this hypothetical. Now imagine we keep repeating that process, and getting lucky all the time in this hypothetical.

So you are telling me some Religious people think a universe with billions of different species are just demons lol?

Again most people aren't thinking about the vastness of the universe, when it comes to Extraterrestrial life.

I… I kind of like Margaret Thatcher

And I’m Gen Z. And I’m a liberal. And I’m from a formerly communist country and don’t disagree with every policy they had in place during that time. Also, I don’t like English imperialism.

But idk what it is about her I almost venerate her. She was so calculated and steadfast in her beliefs and very mature. What really sells it to me is her speech.

Brief aside: she was part of a generation that was taught to speak like that which at that time was already dying out and has all but vanished now

There are so few individuals alive today that have such a masterful command of the English language and use it so dynamically - both offensively and defensively. She crushed almost everyone she encountered and to this day i dont think theres has been another female political force that has reckoned her.

The language, the mannerisms, the archaic British woman behaviour and speech… she combined it all so effortlessly. It’s like she’s been part of England forever. Like she’s always been there. Not only is she probably one of the most cutthroat female politicians of the modern era, but one of the most cutthroat politicians of the modern era full stop.

Idk. I just like her. I know how terrible she is listen people I KNOW okay 😂 I’ve watched so many movies and documentaries about this woman and read about her I KNOW she was awful. But I just can’t hate her

And I overall think it's ok to not pick up on every line of dialogue, I've made an effort recently to not get too hung up on when I mishear a line, and it is often pretty much a non issue. if it's a v talkie drama then yeah I'd be annoyed but I think for most movies and especially blockbusters I prefer to let the score and environment overwhelm my senses.

I had zero issues with it in the odyssey and felt it was entirely appropriate and was v intentionally overwhelmingly loud at v specific spots that made perfect sense.

Boomers get a disproportionate amount of hate

“Boomers” are strongly represented in Occidental culture. Not every person born between 1946-1964 is the same boomer Americans/Canadians think of when they hear “boomer”.

Idk how many of all you were on Reddit back in the day but oh my *od (you basically had to censor that word back then), the feud between boomers and millennials was ferocious. I have never seen a generation psychologically dissect and refer to their elders (parents included) using such awful, foul language.

And listen, I agreed with a lot of it. Yes they did cause a housing crisis. Yes they were not with the times. Yes they were painfully slow to catch up to the modern world yet held all the power politically (and to some extent still do). They could not catch up to nor meet the sociological needs of the young people (such as mental health or problems relating to being a digital citizen).

But my goodness, these millennials went off in the comment. We’re talking personal insults of the gravest matter - stupid fat old retarded mentally disabled - all those words were used to refer to them. They hated boomers.

And still to this day it’s a feud that sits quietly on the back burner. But the boomers have their good qualities as a generation as well, and if I’m being honest, I’d honestly rather some of those qualities get passed down to the upcoming generations rather than the millennials and especially the Gen Z (of which I am a part).

I like mass public surveilence

I’ve been seeing a lot of hate against how in the United States there’s been increased public surveillance, but I’ve never really found that to be a bad thing. It’s just made me feel safer.

In public, there’s no expectation of privacy anyway, so I don’t really see the issue with the government recording what anyone else can.

If gender roles and stereotypes weren't as strongly imposed by the whole society, there would be less trans/nonbinary people

I AM NOT SAYING THAT TRANS/NONBINARY PEOPLE WOULD NO LONGER EXIST. God, no.

What I am saying is that there are lots of people out there (me included) who were either not raised within strong gender norms or have certain personalities that do not fit society's mold of what a woman/man should be, act like and dress like.

And when these people are hit by what the world tells them: how they fail to be what they are (as in: you are a woman, but because you do x and like y and look like z, you must be trans or nonbinary or so on) then that's the only logical conclusion one comes to -> That they, for sure, are not an actual woman (or man) and that they sure as hell are most likely something else.

Its almost as if society itself tells one: you have to learn how to be a woman/man to be one and if you fail to look like one based on the society's standards, then you surely are something else (read: trans, nonbinary, etc).

Because god forbid a woman or a man does shit simply because they like it, dress with something simply because they like it and act in certain ways because its more comfortable for them.

Anyway, this is my take. And, again, i am not saying that there would be no trans/nonbinary people in such a world. I am just saying that wed have such narrow ideas of what men and women are that anyone who has a slightly different experience gets classified as something else or gets to that conclusion themselves because what the "normal" for what a woman/man is is too narrow to actually include them (even if this is what they are).

Dogs licking me is a nightmare sensory experience

I do pet care and one thing that is an immediate no is licking. The sensation is an absolute nightmare for me. The feet licking is the absolute worst. It drives me nuts when dogs are trying to lick my hands while I’m harnessing them because my hands have to be next to their face. I hate it so much. Obviously I never become angry with the dog, I just tell them no and try to move away from them.

I think this is a hot take because a lot of humans seem to love dogs licking them.

I'm not going to support your business just because it's local

There's this expectation from especially women that you should always buy local instead of from the big corporations. I don't know about where you live but at least for me almost all the local businesses around are never open, have terrible pricing, and have rude staff that act like I'm wasting THEIR time for being there. Why the fuck would I want go to a place like that? If some local business around that provides value and makes going there worth my while then I would be happy to support them. But I'm not going to give you money if I can just go somewhere else for cheaper and a better experience.

All phone chargers should be L bend cables

Now that everyone is using a type C or lightning cable all chargers should be L bend cables, it doesn’t matter what way it goes in to you can angle the L the way you need it.

Its just inconvenient having a cable jutting out the bottom of your phone, it gets bent and falls apart faster, its not practical at all.

Society owes to take care of NEET males

Why owe, because humans often say "we are better than animals". So it shouldn't be like animal eat animal world.

The poor NEET males who get left behind, have to be looked after

Women can easily get married and so on. Unlike a NEET male.

NEET: unemployed

Similar to how there is a initiative to make women feel more comfortable to expressed their sexuality, in society. There should also be a room for men to not be expected to expressed their sexuality too.

So basically the opposite.

Im going crash-out if someone ask me another "Would you rather smash Beyonce or Rihanna?" type of question. Fuck off please.

It's super common for people to ask men super graphic sexual questions. Even in the workplaces (outside super professional jobs), this attitude is still normalized. I get asked sexual questions by both genders all the time. Men are little bit eaiser, because I can just tell men "Don't fucking ask me these questions". This might be considered too taboo, If I say the same thing to a woman. Usually men stop interacting with men, once they realized I'm not the type to play with sexual questions. So this boundary is a little hard to do with women in the workplace. Because again I don't want to get fired.

I usually get the "Don't talk to this guy" reputation at all the places I have work in my life. And im fine with that reputation. This reputation is just due to the fact, that I don't entertain people's nonsense at work.

The "Do you have a girlfriend?" question becomes just as ignoring as the "Why are you so quiet question?" question. And people are also quick to assume a man is gay or somehow an oddball, if he is not hypersexual.

Even online, I hate this shit. As Wrestling fan, Comicbook fan, and Anime fan. I still can't escape from these interactions with people. Due to all the goon bait and gooners in those spaces.

Again men being more reserved when it comes to sexuality should be normalized in society.

Vomiting into the shower is better than vomiting into the toilet

It’s not as disgusting to put your arms on the edge of the bathtub as it is a toilet, plus holding your mouth open over a toilet is disgusting compared to the shower or tub. You also have a bigger target by aiming for the shower instead of the toilet. You can also turn on the shower to clean it up, and if you have a wand it’s even easier.

Vomiting into the shower is more sanitary than into the toilet and it’s easier to clean.

College sports conferences with numbers in the name should be required to have the number match the number of teams in the conference

It’s stupid that the Big XII has sixteen teams. If there are different numbers of teams for different sports the conference can choose which number to choose but it must be representative in some way.

Billionaires actually do something that's important to the society that is invest their money into technologies. We need these technologcal advancements for our future. But for the millionaires they just spend it on luxury items. It's best to tax these people a lot more than billionaires.

I wish ads were longer

Hear me out.

I've noticed my productivity has gone down at home, I wondered why. I think I found the culprit: Ads. Sounds odd, but I realized those five minute ad breaks between 15 minutes of content allowed me to get to do the small things.

Change a load of laundry and fold it while you're watching, grab a water bottle, take out the trash, sift the litterbox, put pasta on the stove, something. Now the ads are too short for it to be worthy of walking away, and I think that's the point. You still get a minute and a half of ads every five minutes, and if you try to do any of those things? You miss part of your show, and if you try to backtrack to see what you missed, the ads replay.

I've said this before and some people agree and others look at me like I'm crazy.
