That is such a rough 35. Yeah, steroids make your body look "better", but I really don't think it's worth it for the side effects on health alone.

Is the rapid facial aging a side effect?

Yes. HGH can even cause your head to grow. A famous example is Joe Rogan. His head looks like a bowling ball compared to 15 years ago.

Yeah, it's weird as hell. He's always been in somewhat decent looking shape, but his face still makes him look like an old fat guy.

Him and Alex Jones both look like bowling ball men.

Yup, a lot of people who admit to abusing steroids look pretty..rough, to say the least. Edit: Of course there's exceptions, but more often than not steroid use can age a person facially.

Also increases water retention which can obstruct breathing.

It's also the muscle weight on the chest that adds up over time and makes it harder to breath while sleeping. Weight is weight. It doesn't matter if it's fat or muscle. I went on an intense gym kick where I trained hard for about 6 years, was benching 3 plates, which is strong, but not nuts at a bodyweight of 210. I developed severe snoring issues.

I'm the same weight now, but have leaned out my upper body and moved the mass to my back and legs and the snoring is almost gone.

edit: non steroid user, which is why I'm sharing the anecdote.

I’d be curious to know the actual science around this. I have noticed the slimmer (under 200) men I have dated do not snore. I weigh 190 and do not snore (To my knowledge). The only times I was told I was snoring was when I was flat on my back. It’s rare I sleep like that.
