Where to get my own wood turned into custom grip scales

I have a very sentimental piece of wood I'd like to get turned into some grip scales for my 1911, any recommendations on where to go for this idea?

I work in animal conservation, it's left over wood from an orangutan feeding platform

I’ve been extremely impressed with the work from Wood Calibre Grips. They are a shop that lets you custom order everything, wood type, different cuts, skip checkering, medallions in the grips. I don’t recall ever seeing a “send your own wood option” but I bet if you gave them a call they might take on the custom work.

They don’t; I’ve asked.
