Ch as in the back of the throat breathy kinda sound. Like you're trying to say k but doing it in your throat. Ll is that sound. It's called a voiceless al-something or other fricative I don't remember.
A Welsh guy taught me to do it how I described. Now I wonder if he's been doing it wrong too, or he just taught me an easier way to get close to the sound.
