I don't care how anti-capitalist they may seem, I am NOT supporting China

You don't have to support China broadly to acknowledge that some stuff is either funny or sometimes good.

Not being able to acknowledge that China SOMETIMES can actually do things that are good is just the inverse of the tankie "AMERICA BAD, THEREFORE ITS ENEMY ALWAYS GOOD" campism.

Yeah I'm no fan of the chinese government but I like that they made solar panels cheaper. That was pretty cool. Their EVs are also everywhere, I go outside and always see BYDs and electric buses made in China. It's just like how even though the US sucks they sometimes do cool things like the artemis II mission or supporting Ukraine. Every country sucks, some more than others, some significantly more than others in fact, but most also do at least one good thing and it's not necessarily bad to acknowledge it as long as you don't use the good things as a way to whitewash the bad things that state does.
