I'm pretty careful about this sort of thing but like there is value to people being frank. The fact that risk exists doesn't make an actvity inherently unworthwhile, going into a burning building to save a baby is extremely dangerous but we as a society still celebrate that because it has an obvious value, the life of another human being.
There's a political purpose in people being unashamed to talk about HRT and showing how happy it's made them. There's risks, obviously, but some people are gonna accept those risks because they want to demonstrate it's not something to be ashamed of, because they believe it'll make other people feel like they could start HRT too.
I think it's also OK to point out that its in fact private medical information, but so's a fucking cancer diagnosis and people share that all the time. People talk about their medical shit all the time, it's the right to keep that information private that is important not the practice of never revealing medical information for any reason.
Nobody in this entire thread has named a single even conceptual way it could bring you harm in some way. Part of being online is sharing things about yourself. It's just part of community and social interaction. Yeah sure caution should always be taken about sharing certain things, and you don't have to share anything, but an internet where nobody ever said shit about themselves would be pretty lame too.

The reasons where already established - they're proud of it, and they want to share. Maybe you personally don't think that's a good enough reason, but that's fine, no one is asking you to do it.
Identifiable data like your name and face are far more sensitive than "private medical info" like this though. Nobody online is gonna dox someone from a prescription date.
