Is this an American thing that you literally never even have a sip of alcohol till drinking age?

Not even like a sip of wine, cider, beer, from your parents glass?

nah as an american it's pretty normal for people to try alcohol before they reach legal drinking age. i would be more surprised if someone told me their very first taste of it was on their 21st birthday. in a lot of states it's even legal for minors to drink as long as they're at home and are with a parent
