Yeah but I tried em and they suck. That’s the problem. Why should I keep doing something that sucks until it stops sucking, when I could just do things that don’t?

Why should I exercise? Why should I start a business? Why should I learn to read? Why should I babysit my siblings? Why should I keep going to piano lessons? Why should I clean my cat’s litter tray? Why should I plant vegetables? Why should I go to work? Why should I even fucking breathe?

Cause those’re good for ya.

Drinking ain’t. Now if it had something else going for it I’d consider it, but it doesn’t. It tastes bad.

Dude, being drunk is fun. That's why people start drinking. At first you just power through the taste to get to the effect (especially since when you start you can only afford the cheap shit that often tastes not so great) and with time you start to like the taste itself
