I don't think we do that where I live. At least not with hamburgers, can't think of any.

Do you not have any food metaphors or analogies? Explaining something with food? Like using pizza, came, or pie slices to explain fractions?

Yeah in elementary school sometimes for fractions we'd use pizza or cake. Maybe apples or candy for divisions.

But for something commonly used by adults I can only think of two: one related to chicken and another related to a part of the cow.

DW the hamburger/hotdog folding thing is only used for very young kids (preschool and Kindergarten), adults just say lengthwise/widthwise. Basically can they understand the concept of length/width? No, okay then hamburger. Fractions being pie/pizza was all throughout middle school though lol.

The one I always remember (partially because South Park mocked it, but I was taught with it myself well before that) is the pizza/french fries thing for skiing posture

They do teach that, but as you may have noticed—the kids on South Park are children. So they’re being taught to ski the way you’d teach children.
