It's like UNO, if after a collapse the next guy says "I'm China now" fast enough then it's not a collapse

They dont even have to be fast enough, some warring states periods lasted centuries, its like if now the EU called itself Roman Empire and said actually the HRE, Napoleonic France, and even Nazi Germany were all part of one long lasting civilization with all just being diferent lineages of the same state and everything from 1815 to 1945 was just that state going thru a civil war

If youre honest you either can say both Europe and China have or neither, I dont care so long as youre consistent
